Just my personal opinion: Yonara wrote in the OP that this gathering is about the techniques & philosophy of mundane martial arts by those who practice them. So, as a monk, Kunbo will be talking, listening & asking questions about things that do not involve spectacular displays of chi (no lighting shooting out of palms or bi-location). Makes sense that (IC) anyone who considers themself a “martial class” and is interested in the mundane aspects would benefit from today’s gathering.
I’m looking forward to meeting with a variety of perspectives to ruminate on (both IC & OOC).

Thanks for the event, was really fun!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be doing it again, provided nothing terrible happens to me in the mean time. Not sure when though; I’d like to take some time to contemplate a time that I’m sure I can reliably repeat…or I’ll just keep doing it when the mood hits. Only time will tell.
Also thanks again to all who supported this endeavor of mine, both this and the first attempt. Being able to get this off the ground feels pretty great.
There was a wonderful variety of presentations and impromptu activities as well. Definitely will come to the next one.
