why does dying need to be punished? This just increases the toxicity of dungeon runs exponentially. The punishment is running back. Which already adds seconds onto the run. We still need a rework of the track progression. Overlaps shouldn’t be happening it just feels weird when you get a hero piece of gear but have no resources to upgrade it further so you just continue using your max champion gear

Low keys should not be difficult. A +3 key should not have any one shot mechanics.

I would say +10 should not have any oneshot mechanics. Because majority of players that are doing +10 or below are not doing them for a challenge, they are doing them for gear and fun.

but by the time you’re doing +10s you should know the dungeon like the back of your hand or you really shouldn’t be there. People just dipping their toes into m+ and then get one shot by some random mechanic is brutal.

There are some mechanics where if you mess them up: you should just die, even on heroic.

Even if you are doing all the mechanics perfectly you can still get oneshot easily, because there’s so many mechanic overlaps, RNG targeting same player by multiple mechanics and so on.

Everyone will insist that their pet issue is what causes the current dip in subs, even when there is no evidence of any dip in subs happening at the current time.

City of Threads causing claustrophobia and having worse roleplay than Court of Stars.

I don’t find City of Threads to be too bad, but then again the 3rd boss feels right out of classic in terms of mechanical complexity.

Not this season. heroic bosses are easier than a 7 m+ with the exception of maybe end bosses (7 and heroic raid give equivalent rewards). But you can get full vault without end bosses like M+ And the population of people clearing 10s is around the same as clearing the first 2 bosses on mythic.

Its hardly trivial

Those people are called the majority and they pay the bulk of the money that continues development of the game. Mayhaps you want M+ to cease development since the majority don’t play it at all and a large portion of those that do stop playing it quickly so it offers very little ROI? Because that’s where “having a spine” and tuning it for the 10% is going to get M+.

If you’re going to say equivalent rewards, you have to compare +7s to the whole raid on heroic (or at minimum1st 6 heroic, and last 2 normal), because that’s what’s needed to heroic crest cap (and 3 vault) from raid.

There is no farming Ulgarax->rash’nan twice for loot the same way you can chain farm Mists +7 for loot and crests.

But having progression in the game is a motivator?

Or do you quit every game where you might not be able to clear the hardest difficulty?

Its good to be starting to head out of the beta.
