Right, but I can kill Ulgrax and get Myth track gear. If I were the best player in the world, I could do Mists 20 a thousand times and not see a single myth track piece of gear. I’m with you here, man. I’m fine with the increased difficulty, let’s just be consistent with it. Candyland is Candyland, doesn’t matter if it’s 20 or 5 people.
you people don’t kick, don’t dispel yourselves on this week’s affix, and hardly know these boss fights.
You don’t deserve Gilded crests or myth track gear
I actually think that would be even worse. The problem isn’t that it’s too difficult. The problem is that there is no opportunity for progression, because there is no meaningful M+ progression from +2 to +8. Delves provide 616 ilvl vault gear. Running a +4 will provide crests to upgrade to 619 ilvl, but that is not meaningful progression.
It’s not until you get to +9s for mythic crests and finally +10s for mythic track that there is some actual progression. But it’s insignificant compared to the progression in DF S3. In DF S3 I started doing keys in the +5 range and progressed from champion, to heroic, to mythic track gear over a 15 key range. TWW simply doesn’t have this same level of progression.
Unfortunately with the changes they made, I don’t know how they can reintroduce this level of progression. If you make the best gear available at +2, you’ll have the same problem.
I think the key squish and then raising Delve-differentiated gear to +9/+10 is the problem. The difficulty of each key level is not the problem here, and unfortunately that means the fix is not so easy.
This kinda of reads like the posts for the last 8 years saying mythic+ killed raid progression because you just easily geared past normal and heroic raids doing easy mythic+ content then got hit with a wall in mythic raid.
Those complaints were met with a lot of “too bad so sad nobody cares about raiding” and “don’t do that content if you don’t want.”
It’s already in the matter of giving.
You don’t work for welfare, it’s given as charity, and charity is not worked for, ergo.
You are the only one who sees it being inserted, because it’s already there.
I used your definition of “work” to explain that you can’t get charity without working to get it. Under your definition of “work” calling and filling out applications is working. You can’t say oops I made a mistake and back pedal out of it.
And I told you, I made a mistake in responding to that by only skimming and not clarifying initially that I disagree, that I don’t think “work” is walking or filling out forms to be given charity.
Because if it is the case, like was said, all M+ gear becomes charity because it all involves the exact same thing at every key level.
