Mythic plus loot rewards scaling to +20 is simultaneously (paradoxically) the best and worst thing to happen to Mythic+
If you’re super skilled and feel like the challenge in mythic plus only really starts at twenty, this was obviously a win. It rewards you for doing the content you enjoy.
For the more average player, who pretty much peaks at 14-16 keys, this scaling might’ve screwed you a bit.
If you’re friends with key pushers, they’re off pushing +20s and don’t really have time to play in your 15, where, in the past they might’ve joined you because there was still loot to be had in the great vault.
It’s a win and it’s a loss. A win for the greatly skilled and a loss for the average joe.
I help people in lower keys all the time.
When youre doing 20 keys anyways, you dont really care about the dungeon loot drops anyways and moreso for completing vault.
You sound desperately unhappy to despise people so much that you need to drag out that tired old lie about everybody wanting the best gear without putting in any effort.
If you think I was “bragging” when your delicate feefees were hurt because I didn’t lie like you thought I ought to, so be it. That’s a you thing.
Get real. A whole lot of people didn’t buy dragonflight. Keep hiding your head in the sand, no doubt someday you might get some respect from those other than your ilk.
Right no one is forcing a player to engage in content that is too egregious for them. If you don’t want to push yourself harder, there is nothing wrong with it. If you want to challenge yourself and push your gear progression further, then go for it. But expecting everyone to get the same rewards when you can practically resident sleeper a 15 is funny. Difficulty of content is always relative to the reward granted.
It’s alot better in DF aswell with raid vs m+ aswell.
Some changes could be made. I know pure raiders would like a higher drop rate on the 418 infusions. Mythic bosses should have dropped like 5 a kill to match sparks if you only kill 1 or 2 bosses a week.
I have read many opinions on the subject. Different people with different backgrounds and interests have very different experiences in the game. It seems you don’t know anyone who has every played differently from you. Maybe you should, oh, act like you’re social and talk to normal people.
I have no idea what this is even supposed to mean.
Got KSM and im done till at least 10.1 but my healer was 392 equipped (394 after reset) and I was doing 15-16s, im a R Druid though.
North of 400 should be very doable. Same affixes youre used to, same mechs that will probably 1-shot you if failed, mobs that were dangerous in 15-19 are more dangerous but you have higher stats and typically better players with a greater understanding of mechs to counter it, typically better comms rather than a silent group adjusting to other randomly assembled players with diff strats on the fly…
For example, I still had plenty of groups just facetanking the degenerate dot from the big water elementals before Wise Mari in TJS. That dot can be lined.
That dot can only be realistically lined without making the fight take stupid amounts of time, If it is pulled right up against the wall so ranged only have to do a vague side step to LOS it, Otherwise heavy casters are going to be doing two parts of sweet nothing and it drags out forever on high fort weeks.
That guy is almost 2.9k IO. He is pushing very close to the absolute highest top end. If you play different from him, then you inherently have no value as a player, beyond the sub fee that you are paying just so you can do a whole lot of nothing ingame.
