Mythic Plus is harder AND less rewarding, in other words simply NOT FUN

Everyone cares about ilvl and scoring equally. Why would you invite 619s with 2400 when you can invite 630s with 2700ish? Your chance of getting invited to +10 at 619 is pretty much non-existent.

Let’s assume you are playing your alts and have to complete 45+ eight/nine keys to get 6 crafted 636 gears. Unless you can get +10 keys from +8/+9, progging to +10 from pug +8/+9 is harder than +10. The winning for +10 is hoping for +10 Mists/Ara-Kara/Dawnbreaker and 630s will apply very fast.

City of Threads is a terrible dungeon. If you have +10 City of Threads and you are only pugging, you are in big trouble. City of Threads is very vulnerable to being depleted and not finishing the key. Like Caithyra said, City of Threads is 2 key levels harder than the other dungeons. Why would people on the farm for the weekly vault want to do City of Threads? You have to invite third/second class citizens instead of first class citizens to do City of Threads key.

7 out of 8 dungeons have curses/poisons and bad dungeon designs, everyone is picky about what they take.

That was a lazy solution by Blizzard, 90 seconds is 3 deaths considering deaths lose CDs/potions/run back. The tank deaths bricked keys regardless of adding 90 seconds to all dungeons.

Realistically, would they invite you as 619s to +10? That never happens in a pugging environment unless you are running M+ with your guild groups.

I wouldn’t say equally. I would rather invite a 620 ilvl 2700 IO player than a 630 ilvl 2500 IO player.

In terms of priority list:

  1. Group Comp
  2. Overall IO
  3. Best timed run for the dungeon
  4. ilvl

Maybe it’s different from my perspective as a tank.

It would be tough at 619 to get into 10s a dps, but 619 isn’t the cap or anything before you do 10s so I don’t know why 619 is mentioned as if it’s some hard limit.

Can definitely be in the 622-624 range from doing 8s, which is where people are definitely getting invites in 10s given their score is decent.

CoT, SV and Siege are basically impossible to find groups for. It’s a reroll your key situation if you get stuck with those keys.

That’s unfortunate because I actually like SV a lot.

The only boss in CoT I dread is the first one cause of people messing up orbs.

SoB, I don’t hate it but I don’t like it.

The dungeon I dislike the most this tier is GB.

Everything after 2nd boss in CoT is fine. The first boss and the 10 minutes of RP garbage after it are the problem.

Yeah, I always tell the people to reroll key from City of Threads, SV and Siege.

I would rate SV as A tier but the trash and boss after 3rd boss are dropping to C/D tier.

The first boss is not even the worst thing about City of Threads. You should try healing on the miniboss that poisons the entire group as a priest. 3rd boss is without DK DPS and the last boss is a defensive check. You will change your mind after healing in City of Thread very fast.

Grim Batol is a failed dungeon. This dungeon is miserable without DK. Invites DK is highly recommended for Grim Batol.

Yeah I get to help cheese that with poison cleanse, spellwarding, sac, and sac removing poisons.

Except in my last 2 12s the DK gripped the fire elemental and exploded the group. Lol

As a healer the first boss is so annoying.

Boss 3 is kind of fun, it’s a boss that lets healers really flex their hps, although in a less fun way than the 3rd boss of HOI last expansion. Gotta pump those healing absorbs off.

Last boss is intense, a lot of movement and high damage to heal, but it’s way less annoying than the first boss.

Oh boy, wait till S2 and the wild time people are going to have with Dark Flame Crest, Cinderbrew, and my guess will be Plaguefall, and Tol Dagar.

ALLOW STREAMERS TO POST IN LFR :

Streamers offering help through LFR to assist players with Mythic dungeons is actually a positive shift in the gaming community, providing an opportunity for more players to experience high-level content without feeling excluded or overwhelmed. As Mythics have become harder, many players appreciate having the option to join streamers who offer guidance and support, making the content more accessible and less intimidating. Far from undermining the challenge, these streamers foster a sense of community, helping others improve and enjoy the game. The rising subscriber loss can partly be attributed to a disconnect where players feel left behind by elitist gatekeeping; streamers who focus on inclusivity and helping others are filling that void, making the game more welcoming to a wider audience. Yet the Bots still get away with their carry runs for gold.

If they bring back Tol Dagor or Spires of Ascension I’m out. Dungeons based on vehicle mechanics are dogwater.

Hopefully Sanguine Depths or Halls of Atonement is what we get.

Cinderbrew will cause massive QQ to say the least because you have to handle the thrash extremely carefully. The bosses themselves are not that bad and the last one will probably be a joke.

Yet, the first room alone in Cinderbrew can wipe groups even on normal mode so it says a lot.

Darkflame Crest will also be raged against mainly due to the last boss depending on what mechanics they add too. Point being healer and DPS will have to be a constant rotation of candles that while sounding simple will cause a lot of wipes. Second boss will also likely be dangerous for you won’t be able to ignore mechanics anymore.

Tol Dagor and Spires of Ascension are my top 5 worst dungeons of all time. They bring Siege of Boralus back in S1 so anything can happen.

What does any of this even mean? Anyone can list a group in LFG (LFR is auto-grouping for a specific raid difficulty) and often streamers will advertise their runs using LFG already. Also how exactly do bots sell carries?

That’s what’s great about BFA, so many awful F.U.N. dungeons.
King’s Rest, Shrine of the Storm (40 min slog), Temple of Seth. Good times await!

Only thing I really find unfun about keys is the artificial barrier you have to progress through every season if you don’t push hard the first two weeks to ride the ‘good player wave.’

I wouldn’t mind seeing some sort of metric implemented that nerfs IO gains for people based on how well they use their kit/execute dungeon mechanics. I think it would encourage people to become more fundamentally solid players, and make the climb from +2 to your staple 8-10’s a more pleasant experience for everybody.

Shrine wasn’t that bad after the nerfs. King’s rest was just overtuned.

My personal bugbear is dungeons that have dumb mechanics that aren’t playing your class. Like Spires’ throwing of the spear (remained bugged for high latency groups through the entire expansion), Tol Dagor cannons, last boss of Sethralis etc. These sorts of fights don’t belong in M+ at all.

Tol’Dagor makes Dawnbreaker look like a bug free experience.

GB was my first timed 11, ironically. I had the worst time trying to get it on a 10 and out of sheer desperation applied to an 11, got invited and timed it. I like Siege of Boralus, although I loved most of the BFA dungeons. Dawnbreaker is ok but I still run into random bugs nearly every time I run it, so I tend to avoid it for that reason.
