My guess is they’ll have to default to pugging mythic raid clears for their crests and mythic track gear if getting 9-10s down is too hard for them.
Possibly. Or maybe Blizzard could change it back, because it wasn’t broken before and this change was unnecessary. Also doesn’t feel like a very natural progression, like previous seasons did.
The HP bars bounce low to high, high to low nonstop…its a spikey mess…i thought this was one of the issues they wanted to prevent this xpac!?
You have a very late KSM for DF S1.
It was broken and was necessary. Having 10-15 keys levels before people have to start doing anything mechanical is a massive issue.
You and many others have now just realised you were one of these people, and now have to put proper effort into learning the content instead of getting it for pretty much free.
I have myth in my vault! This kneejerk, asinine assumption of you people thinking that those complaining just can’t do the content are wrong.
This season has a lot of bad ideas. If you think they’re not bad ideas, explain why. Ad homs show the vacuousness of your thinking.
I didn’t time it but I will have a myth piece in my vault this week, maybe a 2nd to choose from if I can complete two more 10s. I just don’t enjoy the current tuning, it feels frustrating and too hard to gear up to do 10s. I’d rather get myth pieces from 8 or 9 vault then use those to gear up to attempt 10s for portals.
Good for you buddy, you might even time the next Mists.
The only bad ideas I’ve seen are the current Oblivion and 15s on Death affix, loving every other change so far. Already gave a reason why the squish was a great thing, don’t really need to elaborate on why having 15 levels of training dummy difficulty is bad.
This is entirely irrelevant. The question wasn’t “Did you ever time +15s”. The question was “Were you timing +15s on week 1 of a new expansion”. The answer is a definitive “No”.
Don’t mind Sosari or Fauxtrausa, they are as out of touch and delusional as the Dev’s that slaughtered any good design that was left in M+
I guess it’s back to raiding, then.
I think it’s a bit wild that my +6 or +7 Delve has a better vault than a +2, but other than that I don’t have a big problem so far. It’s certainly a big step up from heroics, but I’ve been having fun so far. Healing feels challenging, but mostly in a good way tbh. Now that my healers are getting to 600, the lowest keys feel pretty easy, really.
At this time in the evening i would normally be doing some keys, instead i am watching Netflix. I cannot be bothered with these dungeons. I have never tuned out earlier in an expansion before.
maybe the only reason you “progress” through content is because you slowly outgear it, now that there’s a slight hiccup that causes you to be a bit slower in the outgearing process (lol its week 2) you’re just a little rattled that your weaknesses in performance are being put on display. Other people were fine running some 10s with a 90 cap on gilded crests, every week you can spam more and more 9s to upgrade your hero track gear an extra 6ilvl.
I don’t agree that there’s an inherent justification for reducing the number of key levels. While you can argue that some of the levels are pretty superfluous, there are numerous reasons that additional levels add value.
Given the extreme range of player skill in this gamed it’s far more likely that individuals will find a comfort zone when there are a greater number of levels available.
A game like this one, with one difficulty mode is far less likely to provide a universally enjoyable challenge than one with two or more settings. To a point, more is definitely better.
Additionally, having a greater span of levels through which to progress is effectively more content for players in the mid-range.
That said, I’m not sure which is better. What I do suspect, however, is that tuning 15-20 levels instead of 30-40 is probably of far greater interest to the devs than “people weren’t learning mechanics because there were too many levels.” I could easily be wrong.
I just wanted to get some mythic appearances with my alt, timing +6/+7 was fair enough back in DF and +15s fun in SL. So, what’s the poing about warbands development if i’m already struggling with queues and tank “shortage”?
And don’t think can time 9s, m+ is already harder than DF
What is your concept of fair and why is it at +6 or +7?
People capping out at LFR will never reach these heights.
Why are you talking about timing +9s when you were topping out at +15s? You realize that +9 now is what +19 used to be right?
+6 gave you 4/6 hero in vault and crest to upgrade to 5/6 hero, equal to 1/4 myth, requiered to get mythic tmog, +7 chesting 1/6 hero. All this for +4 ilvl, not even looking for max gear. I had the bad luck to go to Uldaman to loot a specific item.
+5 to +6/+7 jump weren’t too high, but was fair in difficulty level.
But +6/+7 now is a big jump with actual tunning and challenger’s peril, its big GL (1 char)
Challenger’s peril does nothing difficulty wise or loot wise. Bricked keys still give loot. Are you too good for bricked keys to get loot at end? As in, you leave.
