Players rioted to get WQs to be bi-weekly in DF to not feel “forced” to do them all the time and you think they’ll want uncapped crest/power grinds??
Ahh yes, another person hiding behind an alt.
Biweekly WQ and a weekly cap are nearly the same thing by definition.
The only difference is, if you do some delves and a heroic boss or two, you will cap on runed crests in just a handful of dungeons.
This last reset, I was only on for a few hours, not even trying to cap.
Just trying to do what I consider chores before going back to grinding m+ And I realized I only needed like one dungeon. Literally just playing the game.
With no intent to farm crests, I hit the weekly cap again within a few hours of the reset.
I don’t know why this is inherently a bad thing?
There are still other reasons to play like filling the vault, grinding an item, pushing score, pushing a new boss, etc.
All of which are easier when you can atleast grind out content to be geared for it. Hence many will simply skip it entirely and either quit for the season or play the mininum maintenence.
There are a handful of posters here with such fragile egos they would rather the game die then to have some other people have an easier time getting gear. Its wild because it has zero impact on them
The 9 was a fortified, would probably have been around 1m on tyrannical. All dps were 620 ilvl.
I’m sure people behind the group have already felt the impact of other people getting gear.
Drop the rewards to 7 for gilded and 9 for
Mythic and all problems will be fixed and the sweaties on here won’t even notice as they’ll be in their 12+ keys loving life. It just feels so bad to not be able to upgrade heroic gear and a weekly mythic vault feels out of reach with life commitments
I find it funny that high end people like to come to those discussions and drop a “you only got ksm once” or “git good” or even “maybe +10 is not for you, just stop playing at +5”.
So I guess most people have done what they can this season, let’s all cancel our subscriptions and let only those guys play now. Some of us may come back next season. Have fun!
It’s hilarious that you take things out of context in order to put it in bad light, but they are right. If someone only got KSM once, what business do they have expecting to be pushing the top of the ladder on week 2 or 3? It’s also true that they need to get good if they want to reach the top of the rewards track. None of what you quoted is wrong.
I guess if you want easy gear and don’t want to put any effort into it, then yeah your season is over. Or people can grind out keys and actually learn the mechanics and their own class. You know. Progression.
I think you don’t get what’s the idea of gear. It is a way to get access to higher end content but it is also a content-wide nerf for people without the skill or time to enjoy the whole content. So, ofc someone doing +10s on 610 ilv are more skilled at the game than someone doing it at 620+, but that’s one way to allow those people to play the whole content too.
I’m playing a preservation healer this season. Got to 614 through delves and raid only (raid being extremely challenging and fun to tackle). Managed to get 6/8H but struggle to get a +5 timed. The HP bars go down quickly sometimes from unavoidable stuff. Sometimes the dungeon goes easily until one or another extremely hard boss that wipes 10 times and bricks the key. That’s my skill level.
I usually manage to tackle a few mythic boss on raids and get all portals because I could get mythic track gear from the vault by doing m+. That way, I got stronger and managed to do content higher than my skill level without being a liability to my teammates.
I don’t see this happening this season. I’m stuck at 614-619 ilv, the m+ content is harder and punishes more so I will probably just try for aotc and wait for next season. It is not healthy for the game that a lot of people decides to do that because the content is gatekept for the 0.5% only.
The idea of giving higher gear for people on vault is to give a content-wide nerf over weeks so those people can enjoy higher content later and keep then involved with the game through the whole season. By forcing them to stop at given range will just make a lot of people feel their season is over. And for what? To protect the 0.5% bragging rights? Seems good until you need subscriptions money from the 99.5% to keep the servers running.
No, I think you don’t get it. M+ was far too rewarding and was making Raiding completely pointless to the point where guild were forcing their raiders to run M+ so that they could outgear the raid difficulty.
You still can. You don’t need 619 to run +4, 5, 6, or 7. Not everyone is meant to reach the top of the gear ladder or difficulty ladder. Does everyone who Mythic Raid reach the end? Not even close.
Your double standards for M+ and Raids is astounding. It’s nothing but whataboutmeism.
So you are telling me that the content is over for my skill level? Ok I’ll take it.
If you are reading this and reached a dead end too it’s time to unsubscribe, you are done for the season for your skill level!
If you can’t progress any further and you are unwilling to get better, then yeah. You are essentially begging for welfare myth track.
I was around the 15% last X-Pac so maybe the 80% of community can just subscribe for a month every season and they will be done too. Seems like a plan
Like I said, not everyone is meant to reach the top. Historically only 30-35% get KSM and we are already at 22%. People can choose to keep grinding keys and improving or they can quit like you.
If 80% of players reach their content wall in a month on a subscription based game the business will fail.
I don’t think I’ve hit my wall yet because I just timed a new 10 tonight, but this season is miserable anyway.
Everyone hits their soft wall. There are players who improve and actually learn to get better and then there’s people like you who just quit.
Just today our uncle that pays for our mine and the kids subs. Told us to find a new game for all of us to play together. We are not having something called FUN! He’s been unhappy with M+ and the over engineered professions. The announcement of BM nerf was the last straw. BM is so bad in M+ its not even the ugly girl that still gets a invite to the party for laughs. Why mage yes you heard that right, mage gets buffs. The direction of the game is going backwards. So after the 20Year lols event is over it will be out last time they get a dime out of him. We will just take our ball and go home.
Blizzard needs a Ubisoft moment x2.
