Honestly, i think the dungeons are fine. I play a hunter, and consider myself squishy and i have come out this week at 1500+ io. I am currently 496ilvl still using mostly season 3 gear too. For a group to survive at lower ilvls you really do need to focus on interupts/dispells. One dungeon i came out with 27 dispells off mobs and 18 interupts along side the tank at 18 interupts. The challenge is fun, frustrating and pushes you even more to understand the dungeon and mechanics. I also think like others have said, if you cannot do a +10 or higher in last season, youre gonna struggle this season. Give it time, these dungeons are attuned at 500+ ilvl too.
Oh okay âwe donât need to see his papers, move along, move alongâ
WAIT YOU WUT BRUH? So what I have to go to the WoW gym and workout? Pay for coaching from esports raiders now to do my rotations all optimal like? Download 20 youtube videos to show me proper routes, interrupts, and the bosses license plate?
Thatâs not happening man itâs just a mythic 0 which is like a mythic 8 before which was easy.
Well first and foremost wow has probably one of the worst telegraphing systems Iâve seen.
I can run off half a dozen other MMOs that preserve visual clarity of the games mechanics while offering challenging and interesting encounters.
For some reason wow game designers choose artistic quality over technical quality and add a level of friction to mechanics that just doesnât need to be there. I do decently high keys and sometimes I look at my screen even though itâs tuned for visual clarity in the graphics settings and go yeah I just cant see whatâs on the ground there so Iâm going to step out.
I think if youâve run end game dungeons or raids in other games like final fantasy or Lost ark or even as far back as wild star Youâve seen better versions of telegraphing without sacrificing a challenging and interesting encounter.
Iâm not even including the terrible modifiers that the community en masse has agreed need a change
Thereâs at least not that much to interrupt in uldaman. Some trogg bolts at the start, the curse cast on the earthen after 2nd boss, and I think the bats have something (All 3 of them in the entire dungeon).
Yeah we didnât have any issues on trash even with their lack of interrupts. The tank and I got most of them with the Hunter getting some, and that dungeon isnât so bad.
But still, 1? There are some things to interrupt after all lol.
The amount of unavoidable damage on some bosses can be pretty unforgiving, particularly in Halls of Infusion, Neltharus, and some others peppered throughout the rest.
But then weâre early in the season, so our ilvls havenât ballooned out yet. Probably going to reach a point where people will be knocking down 18s and 20s when allâs said and done considering the gear on offer.
Play VDH. Get all the interrupts. I think my group has gotten worse at interrupts because they donât have to worry about it for the first 45s of every pull.
Agree wholeheartedly. They need to rein this in. Itâs so egregious, I think I wouldnât even want other classes to get this level of control, it just needs to die.
Eh, as someone who does play for title every now and then the state of vdh the last two seasons exceeds the state of any other tank prior. Itâs not just the ability to physically handle the pulls which is all dk and druid really had going for them in their respective seasons, this is a level of move control hitherto unseen.
