Most, if not all, of the people complaining never did much in legion or stopped well short of a plus level they didn't grossly overgear.

The Grevious complaints are especially funny to me. Grevious does 7% hp every 3 seconds. It takes 20 to 30 seconds to kill somebody by itself. It doesn't add a healer burdern that's insurmountable until you're almost at that threshold without it.

These threads wouldn't exist if people looked inwards first.

I looked inwards and... ohmygod, you're right. I only want loot handed to me as if WoW was a socialist empire and healthcare was free and we all lived in a happy utopia. Thanks so much. Realising this has changed my life and now, in game, I plan to be respectful and diligent and treat everyone kindly. Your example has set me free.

On the other hand, I don't mind challenging content. It's fine. It also has to hit the times I have available to play. In Legion, the higher keystones did eat up more time, but that wasn't happening at the same rate that it does in BfA. In Legion, if I had a busy week, I could still do a decent dungeon, pugged or with guildies, and get it done in twenty or thirty and be cool for a cache. If I had an hour or two, I could push a key or work one up to something more of a challenge. In BfA the time investment has just gone up for the nothing keys, not to mention the wild imbalance of classes and affixes, turning it all into a slog and a hassle.

Classes and affixes were just as imbalanced in Legion. The threads whining about Bolstering and Explosive and every other affix arent anything new. You just overgeared the content to a larger extent from a wider availability of raid loot via mission caches and an extra bonus roll every week back then, as well as the bonus stats from two big orange stat sticks.

And yeah, the dungeons are less faceroll as a result and you have to work harder to max out your cache at the end of the week. That's not a problem. Maxing out your loot gain is something you've conditioned yourself to believe is a forgone conclusion and not something you have to earn or work for.

Or maybe you think what you did in Legion was working for it; that just raw time investment equals loot. Thankfully blizzard still believes otherwise to some extent.
