Mythic Nerub-ar Palace Tuning Incoming - October 1

With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments to the Mythic difficulty raid:

Nerub-ar Palace

Broodtwister Ovi’nax

  • Broodtwister Ovi’nax health reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Experimental Dosage duration increased to 8 seconds on Mythic difficulty.
  • Poison Burst cast time increased to 4 seconds on Mythic difficulty.
  • Volatile Concoction periodic damage reduced by 30% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Mutation: Accelerated increases movement speed of Blood Parasites by 10% every 2 seconds (was every 1 second) on Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
  • Blood Parasites are no longer immune to crowd control while casting Infest.
  • Fixed an issue where Blood Parasites would sometimes melee players.
  • Vile Discharge damage reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.

Nexus-Princess Ky’veza

  • Health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Chasmal Gash now persists through death on all difficulties.
  • Assassination damage reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Twilight Massacre damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Queensbane damage over time effect reduced by 17% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Queensbane expiration damage reduced by 25% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Starless Night damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Eternal Night damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Fixed an issue causing Assassination and Twilight Massacre to pierce some immunities on all difficulties.

The Silken Court

  • Motes will now spawn more reliably at each player’s exact location.

Over 900 guilds 4/8, but couldnt touch these till the race was over ~____~

11.0.5 is cooming out, so they want guilds prepared to the new tier in BRD

Does anyone else NOT like playing two different version of the game? I feel you should tune a boss and just let it be that way for everyone to experience. Maybe just make tournament realm for those world first raiders.

There won’t even be a Mythic BRD.

A lot of Mythic raiders have been suggesting a tournament realm with these super-juiced versions for a long time, but people keep finding straw men to say why that would somehow be a bad thing. (It wouldn’t be a bad thing.)

At least the adjustments came quickly, this time. It’s only week 2, remember.

Were you hard stuck on Broodtwiser or Nexus-Princess that you can now finally play?

is this the norm ? nerf after rwf?

Of the 805 guilds that have killed Rashanan, 754 are stuck on Broodtwister.

Of the 51 guilds that have killed Broodtwister, 46 are working on Protoss Lady.

For sure. I’m so hardstuck I couldn’t even make it through the raid entrance.

Blizzard is so inconsistent on this that there is no “norm”.

Last tier was a disaster because they waited until HoF filled up before fixing Tindral. That malpractice killed several hundred guilds.

It’s not that these tuning aren’t necessary. But it feels really bad that we expecting nerfs to play the game now. Just progged on Brood for a week or so and all that work is now…gone. Should’ve gave us minor tuning and let people experience the boss as is.

They aren’t even nerfs. They’re the corrected and intended versions of the fight.

The problem is they don’t release the actual versions on launch, they release the made-for-TV showpiece versions.

I’ve plugged 7/8H. Meh.

So many dumbos in phase one of Queen, I can’t get in a successful group :frowning:. Was wondering if there’d be Queen changes - I guess that might come later.

The top 500ish players are saying they finally get to play the game. I was being sarcastic as they’ve only done normal. I didnt say the nerfs were unwarranted, just poking fun at people think the tuning of the hardest content barely anyone has seen effects them.

In your opinion if the tuning was correct how many would have gotten a week 2 CE based on 805 guilds at 4/8?

The wall between the first four and the last four was rather extreme. This helps.

But sikran/rash should have probably been slightly harder.
