you’re right. they should say exactly how many keys a week people can leave for no reason without getting banned. that would be a good idea.
its not that they didnt give uber specific information. its that they really left out the entire part of acceptable reasons to leave that non bads care about. we dont care about the emergency situation or the group consensus to leave, because neither of those things really ever happens. people obviously agree to disband all the time, but i can count on one hand how many times it was actually spoken in all my years playing the game.

they don’t need to. they didn’t punish anyone for leaving for any specific reason. they punished people who were visibly and obviously destroying large numbers of keys for no reason at all.
nobody who leaves a group for any reason, even just for funsies, a single time is going to be banned.
i tend to agree with you. but like i said, the part where they went off on that little bit listing reasons to leave was concerning
this is why blizzard doesn’t communicate more. they can’t say, or not say, anything without people picking apart every word of it trying to find loopholes, hidden messages, secret insults, etc.
i would tend to agree with you, but this is the only game i play that has this problem.

Just to be safe, I report anyone who leaves every single time and let blizzard figure it out. Better to be safe and report them since we have no idea how often these leavers do it.

anybody allegedly trolling keys isn’t completing more than 8 a week for vault, as nobody is doing TWW just for the fun of it as nobody actually enjoys this crap. We’re not talking about unimaginable numbers here. Thanks for being that clown though.
right, so they should tell us the exact number. that way the trolls can make sure they stay under that number.

That’s not necessary. Players can figure it out based on how many times the people they know who got suspended have dropped groups.
Don’t know anybody this happened to? Nobody you know knows anybody this happened to? I’d guess it’s really, really rare and only the worst offenders will get snagged.

I never leave keys until the group gg’s and quits. Do this and you have no fear of getting banned. All that long post read in basic terms was, “don’t be a you know what and you won’t have any issues”. This really isn’t that hard.

for all the forum freakouts we’ve seen about this so far, i haven’t yet heard of anyone who was actually banned. seems like it’s pretty rare and not worth worrying about, wouldn’t we say?
