Mythic+ High Keys Abated for Rest of Season 2

I am confused. The way you are saying it sounds like keys will be more difficult after the update?

The only FAIR option is to reset all IO Tuesday after supposed equal adjustments to so called OP specs have been made. Then extend the season by how many weeks that were affected and wasted with the spec over haul fiasco.

Easier. Timing a +27 now is effectively timing a +28.7 after these changes.

You want your 2.8k IO reset?

uh he would obviously be 3.5k right now if his spec were meta

This change is not enough to completely reset the ladder and those that were able to push in the 2 weeks before the initial nerfs still have a advantage. Nerf it to 7% instead.

Either that or start a new season or reset all rating come tuesday.

If you apply it to those keys then people would get even more rating inflation

16s and 17s are already such a wild place so hard pass on decreasing that for those

That’s how Challenge Mode worked, everyone was lowered to the same ilvl when zoning in.

If one looks at the top 300 healers on raider io they are 99% holy paladins.

If one looks at the top server’s mythic plus groups on the wow webpage the meta group is literally 3 key levels higher than any other comp per dungeon.

How is the change in mob health going to allow any other class combination compete with the meta group?

The abilities of the meta group cannot be nerfed enough to allow other comps compete this season. This is a dungeon design flaw.

That wouldn’t change anything though - since Druid is present. Or I should say much.

Druids are only popular because their 4-piece is overpowered.

Druids’ 4-piece is overpowered because bears were garbage at season start and Blizzard handed them an overpowered Pity Set to try and compensate.

Then they made some actual fixes to the spec, but left the overpowered tier bonus intact for unfathomable reasons.

Expect the season 3 bear tier set to be trash, and the spec to follow suit. Bears have lived this particular chapter of groundhog day over and over.

Part of the problem you have with balancing the DPS part of the god comp is that they all multiply off each other. If they are tuned to be good on their own, they will be OP when assembled as 3. If they are tuned around the combo of all 3 being reasonable (damage wise), then each individual spec’s damage will be weak on their own.

Fire is giga buffing Spriest damage with arcane int or something?

Fire isn’t even a PI candidate in raids lol.

Fire just has a constant “issue” of having the best mythic+ damage profile.

Aug of course is tuned too high all around.

But it isnt a bad idea, if you look at the nerfs the ones getting the most are the meta sets which opens viability for other classes that actually got a few buffs or were untouched. How is it a stupid idea? As someone who has mained guardian for years im actually quite glad i was able to play the meta i enjoy the most.

Yeah everyone will be swarming to grab a Brewmaster tank, now.

Love how Blizzard made a 4-piece for Brewmasters this tier that buffs Spinning Crane Kick damage, only to nerf Spinning Crane Kick damage by 20%.
