Fire has historically been a fantastic PI target in raid. It’s just that they don’t scale quadratically with haste the way current Demo/UH does.
It’s still a strong PI candidate, just doesn’t have the giga-OP synergy that Demo/UH do.
Ebon Might is buffed by arcane int, which then feeds back the AI on the mage/priest.
Aug would still be hard mandatory in bleeding edge keys if the buffs it gave were 40% less powerful.
The complaint was that exodia was too strong. It was doing key levels 2 higher than anyone else.
They nerfed exodia.
Now they have nerfed keys to let everyone else push farther.
Kek.
Fully expecting DKs to get the OP set bonus and after all the damage buffs go full crazy meta.
And then the devs will look around and wail “howwwww did this happpppenn!??!?!?!”
I just hope they get rid of the spinning crane kick nerf after we stop wearing this tier set that buffs spinning crane kick.
(And this tier set is BAD, make no bones about it. It does almost nothing defensively, and is entirely built around mass dodging so is useless in raid. It’s entire designed for M+, to just dodge trash and spinning crane kick… and then they nerfed spinning crane kick 20% as a result. My brother’s 4-year-old grandson could do better than this.)

Let’s be honest, the god comp groups already secured their season titles, they don’t really care what happens at this point to M+.
Given previous hunter dominance I see no issue with this.
It’s because the nerfs didn’t solve much of anything in the end, the real culprit as I said in the other post was utility and the fact that augmentation was added mid season. Augmentation broke the game badly, any sort of support class or spec just doesn’t work well in this game given its not like every single class and spec has a template that makes everyone on an even playing field. Followed by stats affect classes and specs differently, meaning you get what we have now of a select few classes and specs being absolutely broken.
All the nerfs did as well was cement the people that were able to abuse the broken state of the game a title slot that has little to no practical competition against until next week. They didn’t do anything to change how the utility works with the meta specs, just nerfed endlessly until they broke the season enough that they had to nerf the scaling on keys.
Not a good thing at all, and again shows how they can’t even control their own game properly.
So happy to see more nerfs that don’t address the main issues with the current meta! Thank you Blizzard for your outstanding work

Not even touching bosses or dungeons that make certain specs absolutely required otherwise the healer will spend said fights and places curled into a ball crying. Are you even paying attention to your game Blizzard?
And yet i maybe have run 3 dungeons with an augmentation. But sure they broke the game making every other class useless. Keep thinking that.
If the game is so unplayable and broken, im sure you wouldnt be missed all to much. But i can tell you that you can easily complete 25s or higher on ANY group comp but yet people think since its the meta it is the only way it gets done and its an unfair advantage.
I hope you realize 90% of those people that compete for this title are the same people every season. This is what they enjoy in tge game, the competition, the race, the challenge. Regardless of if there is a trye balance these guys will still be on top even if every class and spec did exactly tge same damage.

LOL no need to be rude, you and a lot of other people on forums could use a etiquette lesson honestly. Also a bit of big talk from someone who hasn’t even touched a 25, let alone a 20. Along with it’s ludicrous to think that augmentation did not have a major impact on the game, keys especially, because they are the sole reason why the meta is the way it is currently.
Holy paladin would have been meta due to the changes we received, which blizzard rolled back for the most part. Yet augmentation played a heavy hand in why thing are the way they are currently.

inb4 new groups push higher the day this goes live than what pre-nerf exodia was doing.
I have honest question and either blizzard or the community can answer it. But why is balance so important past 20? Where you no longer get rewards. Lets just say we balance all classes up to +30 right? So now when its +34 and we have a new meta that can only handle +34 we’ll come back to the same exact problem. Why is this so important, why are we balancing / buffing / nerfing things based on content that like a small percentage of the community does?
It seems to sabotage the game and the community that isnt this small percentage, and because it seems so harmful, it feels like it would just be better off to remove the ability to go past +20 keystones.
So because its to a character i dont play you think i have no say in the matter?
Yes aug has made an impact to the game, but it is up to you on how big that impact is. Just because its the meta spec doesnt mean anything other then people would “prefer” them. But you as the player is not limited to those restrictions, you can bring any class spec you want to bring.
If they are the sole reason there is a meta right now, then what was going on couple months ago when aug wasnt a thing. This line is extremly exagerated by anyone who thinks aug is the reason meta is bad, as again there will always be a meta but you can choose not to follow it. If you blame it heavily this much then you can only be mad at yourself
And how was i rude, letting someone know about other games since they seem to be unhappy with the current state of this game.
Because we all play the game. And in theory, we all want the game to be balanced.
At low end, the content is pretty easy. Balance doesn’t have much impact. Average players can 3 or 4 man 16 keys and time them. It is also hard to gauge balance when players aren’t pushing buttons correctly.
At the high end, players are pushing buttons. The imbalances between the classes and specs magnify. It becomes readily apparent what some classes are capable of because of their output or utility. It also becomes clear that some classes don’t bring anything useful.
And that should be the focus. Exodia is strong. Every spec has great utility. And with all the buffs, great output. They need to start rounding out everyone else and these problems go away.
The entire point of this change is to have groups push higher….
