Our top 1% premade can’t even kill it in a 16, I don’t think it’s just pugs bud. The DF dungeons are so insanely overtuned they belong in S4 DF.
Ancient does an attack that deals 108,920 damage to the tank and applies a debuff that increases all physical damage taken by 100% for 9s, he does this after summoning the Vile Lashers which apply bleeds and deal physical damage to whoever has threat on them.
Even as the tank, I’ve taken up to 1.4m damage in about 3s. (in a +16 tyrannical).
If this is what people would refer to as ‘balanced’, then those people shouldn’t be the ones tuning these dungeons. It’s a dungeon boss, not a mythic raid boss.

The final boss of Azure Vault is also, horribly, horribly, horribly overtuned. How do you expect people to do the boss when you have to dispel the tank, handle the debuff, kill the shards, AND deal with the orbs that start and stop moving randomly (That also target onto seemingly random people)

I’ve burned my key twice on pugs that just can’t kill it before the damage overwhelms some of combination of the tank and dps. At this point I’m running a different key and shuffling it to anything else.
Only monks are really feeling those nerfs… Rest are fine it tickled.

you are EXACTLY right. I’ve been farming this dungeon for the 2h’er, as its retribution BiS. Hands down this is my least favorite dungeon, and after my 19th clear (with no weapon drops) i think i earned the right to say the last boss 100% needs to be nerfed. Tyrannical this week just exacerbates these issues. PLEASE blizzard fix this.
A strat my group has been using is basically taking the boss at the most corner spot possible with the tank having his back against the wall, split dps 1-2 with highest dps alone in one of the sides. Healer stays in the middle and basically baits the orbs to chase him instead of the tank. Works somewhat well, managed to time a 14 doing those strats. But it is rough for sure.
Sha of Doubt needs like 3 more nerfs. Fight is just ridiculous
They wont. Theyre off to holidays. They just slapped us with the propavly worst afix combo imaginable in ovetuned dungeons and call it for the week. Well im glad that they managed to nerf mythic last boss which was concern only for like 40 ppl. Glad that was fixed before holidays…
I appreciate the help but the boss is horribly overtuned for anything higher than 15. The strat works with extremely high dps, but it falls apart when the boss starts to live longer. And considering the golden standard this tier is +20, the state it’s in right now is unacceptable.

In Jade Serpent, Tainted Ripple by Corrupted Living Water 100% has to be made a longer cast so people have time to LOS. It’s like, 4x harder than the equivalent mechanic in COS marketplace right now. Priests have an edge with reactive mass dispel every other cast, but it has been an overly tough healing check for every other class.
Include void pulse from shadowmoon as well tbh.
That 2 guard pack is rough on fort.
So any updates on more tuning including doing something with thundering? This is the worst feeling m+ season maybe ever.

I’m curious of this too. I hate how scared I’ve felt to run Mythic+ this season as a healer.
Mythics are boring. Stop spending so much of the dev time on this dull feature and work on getting your promising features right.
A) CoS is one of the easier keys so I wouldn’t look at that as a prime example of what other keys should aspire to be.
B) The CoS cast is way more punishing if you mess it up.
C) You can definitely still LoS the ripple by using corner strat.
we will be needing a buff (making harder) to shadowmoon burial grounds in the next dungeon tuning patch, its far to easy and people are geting key levels on their key they have no business owning simply because geting a +3 on this key is extremely undertuned

It will never happen, unfortunately. And my big fear is that Ion Hazzikostas will use this as an excuse/justification to hamstring M+ rewards in S2. Ion Hazzikostas and his team failed but instead we will be punished for their mistakes. RIP.
