Mythic 7+ should give gilded crests

There is a reason why gilded crests are obtainable from delves as well and I would suggest they should make them more available via higher tiers of delving.

Maybe the cap could be doubled, but i don’t think it should be removed

I can be on board with that. Just feels so suppressive right now. I’m basically done for the week after 7 raid bosses

4/6 =45 gone.

Waste 30 crests for mythic track cause why not.

Replace it next week with vault mythic.

Delve gear is likely to be nerfed in season 2, I don’t see blizzard keeping it like this

though it may be a simple as 4 keys a week max

We’re getting 1 raid per tier when we used to get 2-3 and somehow, it’s supposed to feel rewarding to be done for the week after a 3-hour raid capping the only currency I have to boost my ilvl

Do you count terrace of eternal palace and heart of fear as two raids?

The big problem is there will be a void zone in playerbase, people will either do 7’s and 10’s, In between feels like a waste of time for reward/effort ratio, it is already BAD enough to get tanks in “farmable” keys.

8’s should be a hybrid crest reward key, like:

Completion = 12 crests
9 runed & 3 gilded.

Untimed = 5 crests
4 runed & 1 gilded

Still, 3 & 1 gilded will take any player FOREVER to do a weekly crest cap but key “void zone” of players could be less impactfull.

Next up, people will demand a buff to +8 keys because running 30 for 90 is not rewarding.

Then maybe lower it to +7 because it’s easier to farm.

We’ve gotten multi-raid tiers multiple times until BFA. BFA had so many issues that they tried so hard to re-invent the wheel and walked into shadowlands. That worked out very well for them. Now fast forward, we’re only getting 1 raid every few months with timegated crests

Just admit you like being coerced into a system that encourages you to stick around for months instead of being able to grind content at your pace (mind you, we’re still only talking about rune crests which are replaced by myth track gear)

We had highmaul as an entry level throwaway.

Mists had Mogushan Vaults as a partial.

Cataclysm had nothing.

Wrath of the lich king had nothing.

Burning crusade also had nothing.

Vanilla, I guess you can count the 20 man stuffs.

Because Blizzard will fix things that aren’t broken until they are.

Cataclysm had 3 raids at launch, what are you talking about?

Splitting up bosses into more locations isn’t the same as a multi-raid tier.

Each raid had like 6-8 bosses with the exception of the third raid which had 2 bosses. How is this splitting bosses? That’s like almost 3x the amount of PvE raid content to do. I can’t believe you’re defending trimmed development for a multi-billion dollar company

No no…. Raiders had an advantage because they raided AND did m+. M+ has been mandatory for raiders because that’s where you get the crests to upgrade your gear.

Bastion of Twilight had 4.

BWL had six.

Conclave of winds had 2.

That’s still 4 more bosses than current tier and 3 different zones with different stories to tell. You’re acting like it’s 1 raid taking place in 3 zones.

We had Sepulcher in Shadowlands for 11.

It’s an active choice to or not to place bosses in different raids.
