I’m a new player started playing around 1 month ago and my 6 WoW accounts were banned on tuesday for cheating/hacking. I’ve submitted a detailed appeal via the support tickets but the responses feel automated and I haven’t received clarification on what happened. I don’t use any third-party software or cheats i just play manually I’d appreciate insight from the community or staff on possible false positives or what could of happened. This is the account where my wow licenses where banned JoeDirt#12913 i made this account so i could post here because i could not do it in the other account. A little backstory before i got banned i created a character used the boost that comes when buying the war within then i started to level the jewelcrafting profession, switched to another character in wow 2 deposited gold in the warband so i could level it by buying the materials and thats when it happened. I think this is the active ticket number us104833394.
Mkay… Multiboxing is fine to do, but extremely and strictly controlled. NO software or hardware is allowed to be used to make it easier to facilitate. Even if you have the software and/or hardware on your machine, it’s still can be detected (even not used), and Blizzard will flag the account(s).
Given the account you are posting under - and the one in question are not under the same account holder, absolutely nothing we’ll even be able to tell you.
This does not sound like like it would be an issue - you used your own warband to transfer between your own characters. Unless the gold was obtained from illicit means. That means buying it from third party websites, or other shady measures. The only way to get gold legit in WoW is to get it from doing quests, selling items to vendors, selling things on the Auction House, and things like that. If you are somehow getting gold through unsupported transactions with a level 1 somewhere…that is likely bad.
What happened just before you were penalized is rarely what caused it.
You mention you have 6 accounts under that Battlenet. Why? If you were multiboxing that can sometimes lead to issues. You have to do it completely manually. You can not use ANYTHING to make it easier in any way.
False positives can happen though. If you think that is the case, you are free to appeal politely until they tell you to stop. When they realize they have a batch of false positives they usually update the software parameters, scan again, and unban the batch of false positives together. That can take time though.
This means that the registered user name on the posting Battlenet account, and the penalized Battlenet account do not match. We are required to use our legal real names when creating a Battlenet account. Blizzard does not allow any form of account sharing, gifting, trading, or sales. Only the person registered to the account should ever be logged in to it.
So, seeing as the real name on this account does not match the penalized account, Blizzard won’t tell you anything at all about it as it is not yours.
no i used my own gold, yes i use multiple acc so i can have crafters available, the only thing for wow that i use is addons no other external program nor macro yes i switch between them when when i was playing with 5
