Literally everyone wants at least increased range. Do you even know how to read the forums?

Yes, the majority of players want better range and survival.
Prove me wrong.

I’m convinced certain devastation evokers won’t be happy about defenses until they have an immunity and augmentation’s cheat death
I mean… doesn’t every other ranged have those? And several melee? One of devastation’s problems is that they are a study of have-nots. That’s why many feel that evoker is incomplete. Functional, but far from perfect. It can get the job done but it many areas it just can’t go the distance unless you have have abnormal luck or technical skill.
In short, it still lacks options.

You’re the one claiming it–prove yourself right.
I would but I don’t think I can fit all the forum topics/posts in my replies. You’ll just have to take my word for it, I guess.
You’re welcome to post any forum topics/posts that you yourself did not make claiming that the class is perfect just the way it is, though.

That most of you using this as a metric don’t realize this is a horrible measuring stick never ceases to amaze me.
It’s like being on Yelp and saying “everyone hates this restaurant”. Not only does Yelp represent a drop in the ocean of the actual customer base, it’s also wildly skewed in favor of those that have a propensity to be unhappy no matter what.
These forums are historically a den of loud, impossible-to-please Karens. If you don’t think this is just an echo chamber of complaining, you’re truly delusional.

That may be, but that does not invalidate their concerns, nor do all those who are displeased express themselves on the forums. You could as easily say that what some are shouting on the forums is a good indication of what many are thinking but not saying.

My point is that you can’t say that, because of the nature of the forums. You’re defining confirmation bias.
To be clear, that doesn’t even necessarily mean that you’re wrong, it just means there’s no clear way to aggregate reliable data.
It’d be nice if blizz did in-game NPS or CSAT type mini surveys for everyone with a character that played content every tier (meaning hours played,"x # of dungeons, arenas, raid bosses to qualify) but let’s be real, they can’t even be bothered to participate in their own forums.
These forums are still not a valid sample size and they’re skewed beyond belief.

No?
Pretty sure immunities boil down to turtle, block, nether, divine shield, and cloak. And then only aug, fire mage, and rogue have a proc cheat death. Idk might be missing a few, but evoker is literally fine.
Yeah and even then, turtle isn’t truly an immunity depending on the situation.
But yeah idk what this dude is talking about.
Maybe not 100% immunities for every class, but they do definitely all have an “oh sh!t” button or a “haha, you thought you had me” skill/talent, except for one spec for one class…

Definitely get rid of the ridiculous range limitation, for all 3 specs. I also think Dragonrage isn’t flashy enough.

So what do warrior, shaman, warlock, and dk have as big reactive buttons. And when you start citing dps loss abilities like death strike and impending victory, I’m going to say VE, blossom + panacea, and good ol living flame yourself.
My biggest wish for devestation? Having it be competitive with Augmentation. I enjoy both playstyles, but currently I use Dev for personal questing and Aug for group content
What group content are you participating in?
