Imo the flat cutoff for gladiator and r1 on MOP does not mean transfers are off the table I think they just showed us what the S3 reward overhaul is going to be on retail. Expect 2700 (exact rating unknowable) to reward a r1 Gladiator title from S3 TWW onward.
I truly believe based on my experience playing seasonal servers outside of WoW, the standard process when the seasonal game is over is to allow transfers to the main game and restart.
I highly suggest if there’s a CM set you always wanted or are one of the many cheated out of the enchant to play MOP. Absolute worst case is transfers do not happen and you had fun playing and a good break from solo shuffle.
Ask yourself what is more likely. Blizzard not caring about retired cosmetics or blizzard deleting characters people puts years into playing
I feel like if they do allow transfer to retail they’ll also allow the stuff to be earned by playing only retail, like if cata drakes are ported onto here you can buy them for getting glad a second time in the current season, etc.
Also yeah it’s probably about time for them to do something about the reward structure after solo queue ruined it.
Watch Nas be right though and it’s actually nothing.

I fully disagree simply because earning mop gladiator today will be harder than it was at current content. I heard gladiator on cata is like 5 teams.
I think the people that unlocked it in classic earned and deserve it
Honestly if we’re talking difficulty and fairness the literal only way is to keep the modes distinct.
You can’t ever truly recreate a season.
It’s too much nuance for Blizzard to care. End of the day WOD is extremely unlikely and MMORPGS understand that they can’t delete your character it’s either perma ghost town mop servers or transfer and refresh (this makes the most money)
Yeah, so mishmash everything together or keep them apart forever. Nothing in between.
You can’t fool me, I see what you’re doing! You’re trying to get us to play mop so there is more participation and easier rewards!

I think the flat spots thing is meant to address just this.
Retail has also suffered from the 60 or 250 titles thing.
I’m actually pretty excited for MOP so it’s a little of that yeah lol. I’m ready for a break from retail

Honestly if I could play mop, like just have a max level character ready to go, I would. I unfortunately just don’t have enough time right now to level and gear and learn a character on classic.
Also it’s exciting when blizzard announces class tuning and changes, if everything is balanced but nothing changes, the game gets a bit stale. Last PvP I’ve done was about a month ago.
i can absolutely see them allowing classic transfers for retail and when that does happen they will allow you to obtain previous mounts and elite sets. they will phrase it in some manner such as “those who earned them originally have had decades to enjoy it, it is now time to let those who missed out a chance to earn them”

Yep. It’s either this or no crossover ever, I think.
pretty sure they’ve been priming us for this by returning the tgc stuff via twitch drops
also piloting it in china as well im p sure you buy swift spectral there? lmao
They already did this, though.
Because china never had tcg, sort of like how classic doesn’t have it.
Chinese wow also operated by another company, etc.
It wont be cause you can get titles from twos and in og mop teams existed till s14 it will be a joke this time around more people will have s1 glad mop than the original

yeah glhf with that guys see ya in a month
This would be extremely insulting to many players tbh. The problem with allowing transfer over was it was stated from beginning no such thing would occur.
I for one would have abandoned retail entirely and zero to hero’d a toon through every classic raid, dungeon and arena season and collected many vanities and removed from game titles, transmogs and such. I’m surely not alone in this sentiment.
Not exaggerating that either and I’m sure many others would have abandoned retail entirely knowing from start classic would transfer over at its conclusion. Myself and others did not participate knowing its basically a official private server and for fun and nothing actually comes to your real bnet collection as was conveyed at the start.
I single handedly drove you to post this
Blizzard handles it the same way they did vanilla, leave server up to play if you want.
? Must have missed something I read the blue post this morning and then posted
