this whole arc was just horrible writting as i wrote above. i get it you are super into it but its just bad writing from a situation that someone clearly doesnt understand.
This is an absolutely ridiculous take.
Grow up.
Oh the irony here.
You didn’t “call him out”. You instead tried to twist his words to fit your narrative so you could punch down at him.
OP says he doesnt like Faerin for unrelated reasons
You come flying in “oH iTs BeCauSe Of HeR rAcE”
Once the season starts, delves will offer gear all the way up to heroic raid level. You’ll also get a weekly vault for doing them. So, it’ll get better.
“There’s only one way to get back to normal”
This is a fallacy, him being weak and crying is not the only way to express his trauma.
I will give a practical example.
He could be strong, crazy, confused and/or in pain instead of crying, being insecure and weak.
The story is okay, not amazing but not bad either. I like Faerin but all this friendship and rainbow and unicorns is annoying, the same with the bromance between Anduin and Thrall, it makes it even worse when they put my orc character in the middle of it while all I want to do is take Anduin’s head and place it on a pike on the entrance of Orgrimmar
I am actually really loving Faerin as a character. As someone with PTSD I have found myself really immersed in her and Anduins story. She’s like the gentle sage granny I wish I had. The cave quest were it goes all dark and they are talking kind of chocked me up pretty hard and the cut scene when they get the little lamp working again and he hold her hand and feels the light again. BEAUTIFUL.
What I am tired of seeing Woman in power like Alleria and Tyrande as just angry. Really you’re a leader of a faction but you are jumping in a hole for revenge or refusing to help other people for you quest of vengeance. It’s is just very skewed.
Finally get a female character with depth and everyone is an uproar but everyone is okay with the crazy chicks out for vengeance and being so STRONG they HAVE to do it all on THEIR OWN. blah.
Looking at the other side of the gender divide though. Male characters this time have seemed. Underwhelming. I don’t have a problem with Anduin and getting his mind right. But where are all the others? I feel like they are not there or they are throwing hammers into a bunch of beer and… well no longer with us.
yea it really annoying how they basically said okay guys you remember all that hate and vitriol towards eachother? well with this one story line we are going to give you the batman v superman treatment and you guys are now best friends.
Because since Warcraft 3 there has been a lot of female characters that have been front and center in this game. Tyrande, Jania, Maiev Shadowsong, Sylvanas Windrunner, Alexstraza, Azshara, Yesera, Lillian Voss. Some of these characters have some of the most in depth important stories in the game. Yet the inclusion of one more female character who’s story is her whole life has been one of hardship and struggle but her devotion to her faith in the light kept her going and her unique view of the world having grown up entirely in Hollowfall is somehow “political” is absolutely laughable, naïve and short-sighted.
I dont totally understand this… Enh has always been half caster have melee… and its not like stormbringer makes you a full caster…
You get a great AOE button and do a ton with chain lightning… sooo whats the issue here?
You literally said you don’t mind there is a black NPC in game. Think about that for a second will you?
Let’s all think about this statement for a second.
You lost me at
These are just talents, there’s nothing heroic about them, they didn’t even need tree names, but giving them an icon and name for flavour and then umbrella “heroic” talents suggests they fit in somewhere with the xpac narrative… except they don’t.
They’re just covenant abilties/conduits that you all complained about for some reason, but with half the choice or less. The player base makes no sense, confirmed.
I know that, i never said it didn’t nor something which contradict it.
Intentional or not you are attacking something that i didn’t said nor i defend, this is called strawman fallacy.
Personally, when I read it, I took it to mean he was already preparing for the backlash of “you don’t like her because she’s that”. I don’t think he’s tokenizing it, rather insisting that whatever her race/skin color is has no relevance to his opinion. I’d assume from some of the spelling and grammar he’s not English-primary so I usually take that sort of stuff into account when I read things.
This is a fallacy, him being weak and crying is not the only way to express his trauma.

Agreed. Not that I like Anduin any bit.
Most of what you say falls under the Tate energy.
That would go against the community. Community does not like super high man energy.
So they played the ball right and gave us a more emotional man. Which the community liked and connected with Anduin.
Pretty simple the game is for the community not for you and me.
Now let’s talk about the real issue that is Thrall.
You played 100 hours and you could not see how badly he wants to sell the horde ? Like we are an army at his disposal.
We are going to be fighting every battle for Allaince. While Alliance keeps claiming land.
The woke girl power bs is getting OLD.
It’s so strange because the demographic they’re trying to reach simply doesn’t play their game… so they’re just going to alienate their current players and the game is going to further decline… Blizzard needs to take a step back and look at all these woke games that are actively crashing and burning right now. They’re not immune to it either.
He is only telling the truth, everyone can see it. What do you have against men? You are clearly showing your sexism. If the roles were reversed and it was a situation where he said there were too many men and not enough women, would your attitude have been the same? I highly doubt it.
Most of what you say falls under the Tate energy.
Wow, you went there, huh?
No, its not a strawman, the basis of your whole argument is “90% females!”. You said that. Here, for reference:
Disparity in coherence, 90% female leads, 10% males but they are incompetent and insecure
Completely forgetting that there has ALWAYS been a very high amount of strong female lead characters and strong female stories.
