Looks like I fell off the TL3 List again, y’all. I thought I had been staying ahead, but I guess not.
I’m gonna guess you’re lacking on reading. Might need to read other threads more often, including threads in General Discussion.
I’m just guessing it is the reading, but I can’t guess how much would be needed. I’ll leave that for the SFA’s. But I noticed when TL3 falls off without any action, it is usually due to the lack of keeping up with the reading requirement.
There have been nights when I set the rig to “read” over 4-5k posts, but when I got up the next day, the screen will have frozen, and I would have to start over. Is that happening with anyone else?
I’ve never tried to rig the system to read posts for me, so I don’t know how that works.
Your reading is fine, Jonas, you’re short on the topics viewed. You have 267 currently and you need 500.
Thank you, Vrakthris! I’ll get right to work on that.
You can actually fall off from TL3 simply by not posting or reading enough. But as I remember with you in the lounge, you had a slight misunderstanding with some people there. It was not your fault but they kinda baited you into a forum confrontation that caused you to get agitated and then you started making odd out of charterer posts there on the lounge. Cuz people tried to get under your skin there if I remember right. So…yea to me too when people do that I reply in ways that I shouldn’t. I think it was your wide who posted in lounge a while back saying you were taking a short break for a little while, going absent from forums will begin to auto decay your Tlvl if I am not mistaken. I think it can decay away but am not sure.
It does decay, according to a very specific rule: your eligibility for TL3 is based on participation numbers accumulated in the last 100 days. That means that if you slack and your totals fall below minimum as older participation contributions (101 days old or older) fall out of the consideration window, you’ll lose TL3 without warning.
A good example is putting on a massive push to record views, likes, and posts to get into TL3, and then slacking after you get that trust level. This means a great deal of your eligibility is concentrated in just a few days of activity which will age off and stop counting 101 days after you did it. If you haven’t been maintaining activity, you’ll lose TL3 when enough of that surge participation ages off and stops counting.
