This just happened. I switched characters and all of my interface disappeared. I made it through 12 characters without issue, lucky #13 didn’t have any interface (action buttons). When I go to settings it lacks the menu screen but the buttons are still available. It’s also now not available on any of my characters. There was a patch waiting but I updated and still have the issue.
try alt+z and see if that works

I’d do a proper reset UI, see if that helps.

It turned out that an out of date addon (EvilUI) was enabled for some of my characters, it was weird because I applied the interface to all but it was reset for all my later characters. Thanks for your help.
