Whatever helps ya sleep m8. I pay to have fun with my friends and family the we we want to. You go be as hardcore as you want, idc. But you seem awfully judgy for someone unwilling to make friends and reroll while trying to defend these “friends” that won’t play with you because of hours worth of game effort… wonder why that is…

What i would do … and btw did with my friends was setting up a playsession. Yesterday 2 of us could not get online because of said wait time. So we gone to Live(yeah thats still a thing) and ran 3 M+ Dungeons and then stopped.
Today we tried again, still didn’t work, so we switched realm together … onto one of the new realms that got opened yesterday … and bam we where all in. Played til level 20… together …
We don’t talk about that the others already made Characters … we talk here that you made them together and wanted to play together …
But … if you have to play just on that one realm … it is still no reason to cry like a baby. There are allot more Adventures to be had together later on!

they could re-roll with you on a lower pop server like others here have stated. That answer doesn’t work for your friends it seems. Best solution is to unsub, gotcha.

Feel ya man. Same thing happened to me buddies took work off this week for this I didn’t . I got on with them at launch we leveled a bit. Came home from work today no chance in hell I was getting to play with them. Rerolled on a new server and going to have to listen to all the fun on discord and get help from randoms. Sucks and definitely 100% a failure of a launch but it is what it is . I’ll just have to pay to transfer when available and when the realm chills out.
I think the OP makes a good point in that this launch has completely failed. There are no low servers. They were completely full yesterday and they are completely full today.
I managed to get on one yesterday and lvl up to 10, today I was forced to wait in que for hours or start completely over. (And no one wants to deal with starting zones again). I tried bfa and its trash, came back for classic but seeing how impossible its going to be to play it i’m tossing my sub as well

I don’t think they realized how popular it was going to be. They keep adding realms, but from what I’m seeing from all the complaints, it’s not enough.
This doesn’t have anything to do with being good or bad friends, we’re talking about a video game here, they just don’t wanna go back to this dumpster fire of a starting zone.

You’re their friend. I’d do it for mine. OMG the whole 20 levels they got. It’s more important to them than you. You should QQ about that instead of not being able to get on.

That’s your view on it. And I am not saying you or your friends are wrong. Just that there is other options that you won’t take for yourself. Personally, we all rerolled for 2 people. And it was worth it to be able to have them with us. That’s us tho.

That sucks that you’ve been stuck in a queue for that long, and I fully understand your frustration about it, but maybe your buddies will be happy to level alts with you when you do get in? Or run you through quests and dungeons to help you catch up?

both my husband and I have the day off. but we did this even back in Vanilla, after getting home from work. You can do many other things in that hour like cooking dinner, catching up on shows. Not being able to queue up instantly like we do in BfA isn’t a reason to unsub after only one day.
