Sitting around 1900 MMR even though I’m healing like a sweatlord where my DPS alt is insta 2.2k+ MMR for no reason.
Get called bad by some hunter in THE MOVE, he proceeds to go 1:5 (his 1 win was with me healing btw, I went 4:2).
Rage whispers me afterwards saying I’m bad and ignores me.
I get the forums are full of these posts, and I know I’m returning right before end of season, but man shuffle is just the worst as a healer.
Why do healers always feel the need to announce how much of a victim they are.
Like why not just move on and not be bothered by some random faceless persons message. You get literal instant ques just go next and play the game if that’s what you want to do.
That idiot raging at you is sitting in a que as you get to play the game.
Because I want Blizz to keep seeing this is a bad system that encourages toxicity and demotivates healers.

To be fair, being 2.2k on a dps is not the same thing as being “high rated” on a healer. I managed to 6-0 another healer last night between 1800-1900. He was a current glad ret paladin playing on a new resto shaman alt. Two completely different games.
Also you might get lobby vs a fistweaver, so there’s another reason to not queue.
Yeah but 6:0ing another healer is really difficult. You’re more reliant on your dps to close out matches. On my alt dps I played a few games and was instantly at higher mmr because I could win games. I don’t think it’s any secret that getting mmr as a healer is more difficult than dps.
Pretty obvious when you have posts asking why rss are such long queues for dps
Insta queue and those little 50 conquest medals are the only real reason to play SS as a healer.
the only reason i q healer is to get insta q’s, it does seem harder to get higher rated on a healer compared to dps but that may just be im not as good healing or maybe because i play disc

It is, he wasn’t prepared at all, even though he is a glad on his main dps this season. That was my whole point though. You said you can log a dps alt and get 2.2k no worries, but you’re a sweat lord at 1900 on a healer. I was merely pointing out that they are two different things.
Agreed - I hate healing lol - got my xmogs on some healers for fast ques then fk that. It’s way harder gaining MMR
Yeah that’s fair, in my case I’ve been the same rating (outside of solo shuffle) on both DPS and healers.
win or lose i get conquest for the character i want to play. news flash its not the healer.
But if you’re queuing via solo shuffle it’s faster to grab some free conquest for your DPS while playing your healer… Not saying you gear your dps soley via your healers conquest rewards but would you turn down a free 50 bucks if I offered it to you just cause you can make money yourself? If you want to gear every toon you have the long way you do you boo.
Sadly, I’ve found it quicker and easier to get rating on resto this season than enhancement. Everyone knows you can just train the enhancement into the groud and overwhelm the healer.

I love being a healer and not being forced to AFK in order to play the game.
