I have been playing wow for a long time and decided to play classic wow. I leveled up horde and alliance characters. My main characters name i Bowdacious (alliance) and Sheenah (horde). I exited game and came back on and there was a video that played and when it was done all my characters are gone. I’m ready to just forget this game if I can’t get them back after playing classic for a while now. Can you help me? The realm I believe is Ashkandi. Thank you
Make sure you are loading up the right realm. Characters don’t just disappear, they will be somewhere.

Well mine did. I am on the right realm there is no other characters on wow classic… I have been playing wow since practically the beginning and I think I know if I am on the right realm or not. They are gone and there is no other realms that have anything except a starting character at level 1. I would appreciate that you don’t talk to me like I am 2 years old. I am almost 70.
You’d be amazed at how many times people find they’re either on a different realm, or they’re accessing classic wow via a different retail wow licence etc.
It’s not a slight on you, but merely fault-finding 101. Please don’t take it personally or be so defensive towards anyone offering assistance.

They aren’t speaking to you like you are 2, Jarda, but just stating something that is 99.5% true. Characters simply do not disappear. If you aren’t seeing them, then there is something that is causing that.
The most common explanation is you are logged into the wrong Battle.net account or WoW license, or maybe looking on the wrong realm.
That may not be the case here, but it is very often is, so it is a good idea to cover it since other players don’t really know all the specifics you may.
As for your characters… My question would be, are you checking the correct version? You said Classic, but from what I can see your characters are on Ashkandi on Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Make sure you have that version of the game selected and not Classic Era. I can see the characters, so they are very much there.

I have always appreciated all the hard work y’all do on this game and only had a couple of things I needed help on and was helped quickly. I was hacked once and everything was returned to me the next day. I don’t think this is the case this time. when I exited the game and came back on after a bit the game started like it was the first time I started classic. I am not sure if it maybe changed servers on me? Who knows…I would just like to get them back if I can. I appologize for being short with you. I have been up all night and I’m tired and you do have to deal with all sorts.
Did you see what Vrakthris wrote above you? Make sure you have clicked on Wrath of the Lich King version of the game and not Classic Era.
Sometimes the launcher has a mind of it’s own and switches the version of the game you have selected.
