My character is currently locked with a “Billing error”

Hi Blizzard Support,

My character is currently locked with a “Billing error” message after I received a refund for a recent race change. I’m unsure whether this means I’m waiting for the race change to be undone, or if I’m expected to repay for the service.

It feels a bit confusing, especially since the refund was offered in the first place. Could you please clarify what’s happening and what steps I need to take to resolve this?

Resolved, it was a bug on blizzard part and they finally fixed it.

You will need to repay for the change you did in order to unlock the character.

After that is paid off, you can purchase another service if you want to make a change again.

Just had my ticket replied to and they were able to resolve the bug.

This happens sometimes with refunds on character services. Open up another ticket and let them know that the character is locked after a refund and they should unlock it.

Edit: looks like I was too slow, happy it got sorted out for you tho.
