update took a chunk out of all my bars and swapped things around

same… spent an entire dungeon run fixing things as a dps

Wait, you didn’t know your buttons were messed up before you went into the dungeon?
This happened to me, as well. Logged in, tons of spells and other things missing from my bars. I fixed them, logged out and back in and they were magically as they were before the weekly reset. The next time I hit a loading screen, my bars were as they were when I had to fix them after logging in. Really strange.
Oh if thats what is happening then I apologize to the person I previously replied to, that is actually wild.

Oooh, yeah. I had thought what you thought, too… not even thinking about the “update” from today’s reset. About to login, and am wondering whether it did anything to macros.
Hrmm… looks like no change whatsoever for me.
Are you using any addons that may impact this?

Switching to off spec and then back will fix it too
Mine will now randomly reset out of nowhere. Swapping specs fixes it for a few minutes, but eventually they get jumbled again.
Same thing happened to me, my bars were 95% empty. I was terrified that meant all my macros were deleted but nah they’re still there. I’m the type of player that fills every single spot on all my bars so it took me forever to get it back into shape. I use default action bars*
Yeah I had nothing change on my DK and Shaman, but I also use default UI. Don’t know if thats the difference maker.

I use ElvUI and all my macros got removed from my action bars, it took a bit to put them back into place but it wasn’t that bad personally.
every loading screen my games like “nope your feral but not” and i have to switch to feral and back to gaurdian to get my gaurdain bars back.
Yep, it was like a version of my setup from last week before i re arranged everything. Haven’t had a problem since, although i haven’t switched specs yet.

So far the only fix I’ve found, at least what’s worked for me as I’m using second spec, it copying my hot bar manually over to the bar that appears when you go between instances.(By screenshot and then I just match it up.) I’d just tried it, went to blasted lands to outland, then back to SW, it stays as is.
If you swap specs again though, it reverts and the issue starts happening again, so at least it’s a temporary fix until we hopefully get an actual fix.
