My brothers account got banned for no reason

So my brother was farming matt’s in oribos for the sky golem he logged of and went to bed then he woke up this morning to do mythic’s and was banned for no reason it said he was botting but I can confirm he was not please help someone. He already appealed but it said it was going to take 24 hours

You cannot do anything. This is a matter between your brother and Blizzard; Blizzard does not involve third party participants.

That’s not how this works at all. The GMs don’t really browse the forums unless someone or something gets reported to them, and even then, they won’t take action based on “I’m posting on behalf of someone else” hearsay.

They’ll answer your brother’s ticket when they get to it.

i understand just 24 hours is a long time for a support ticket there used to be a game chat or support chat but its all good and I understand, the only reason I am posting this and he can not he cant post on the forum

Eh, mistakes can be made but the OP isn’t getting help here even if GD forum could help because the banned person would need to post, not the brother.

He should still have forum access even if he’s banned in-game.

He should check his email for a ban reason as well. There’s also a Customer Support section of the forums to use instead of GD because outside of that you’re SoL.

and i understand that but it did, he cant post on the wow forum he is blocked from it, and i did not make this post to start a forum war he just cant do anything but wait, i mean he has never got in trouble for anything and all the sudden he gets banned we spent all day yesterday farming the silverwind larion we just started skinning and leather working

That won’t happen here.

PS trying to call out for blizzard in the forums can get you banned from them. “trying to get ahold of a gm”… bad whacks with rolled up paper

Go to the CS forums. Though you’ll have to deal with the wannabie groupies and worthless mvps.

Well there’s nothing anyone can do here, not even the mods because they are forum mods not in-game mods.
