No kidding but when a GM does show up it’s usually hilarious.
But yeah I wish they would get rid of the wannabe blues. If I was Queen For A Day, only blues would be allowed to respond to threads.

The person banned can file an appeal using the method listed in the email they got when banned.

I’ll admit I’m bitter. I did not have a good experience with those people.
You did when you posted in general discussion. That being said, I can count on 1 finger the number of people who have said that they were innocent of botting/breaking the rules and actually were innocent. Blizzard has the logs, they’v been doing this for a very long time… Not to say that there are not false positives as I said I know of 1. His recourse is to appeal the ruling. You can do nothing for him. Not even your word is worth anything to be quite frank.

Hmm I think there’s a rule about exploiting something you know is broken. Like, if you find a broken wall and jump through it or over it anyways. Or raiders find a loophole and use it. For example, they know standing under a bridge negates all AOE damage a boss does. You know that’s not supposed to happen and you do it anyways.
I remember in another game where some people were complaining on Reddit… and the GM’s came in and laid them all out with what they really did and exposed it to all of the people reading… I never laughed so hard in my life.

if your ‘friend’ believes he was falsely banned, he can follow the instructions in the email sent by Blizzard when he got banned and put in a ticket to appeal.

Another interesting coincidence…
You cannot appeal on your brothers behalf only your brother can appeal.
You will not get a one on one conversation with a GM about the account action.
Not trying to be rude here… But it is his account and only he can do anything… Period. Unless he is a minor and the account is in the parents name.
But general discussion will get you no where. I don’t think the CS forums will really even help, other than MAYBE for them to look at things… But realistically the request for review of the ban is about his only solution. Doesn’t matter if you were with him, it wouldn’t matter if you have video… All that matters is Blizzard’s data.
