If they live forever and support those huge bodies, their bones must be super dense. Great building materials.
Lets make infrastructure brutal.

How many time do I need to teach you a lesson old man!?
Youâre right, Night Elf bones are better.
Orgrimmar could use a road to its new territories in Darkshore. Donât tempt me you filthy animal.
I hear their ashes are pretty legit.
[Eredar-Draenai war (colourised)]
High Elves shouldnât be a race, instead we should get the High Elf+Human hybrids as a race, Half-Elves, and the leader is obvious who it can be⌠the Son of Alleria and Turalyon, Arator the Redeemer.
We need a proper unique Half-Elf model introduced to the game that matches the lore and official drawings, and lorewise these half elves are quite very proud and at the forefront of the Alliance armies but are unrepresented and their presence is lacking in the gameâŚ
This is what lore states about them:
They push themselves to excel in whatever their chosen field, whether to hope that success will help them fit in or to spite those who consider them inferior. You will not find a more dedicated priest, a more loyal fighter, or a more studious mage than a half-elf. That a half-elf will ever serve in high position in the Alliance is virtually impossible, but their desire for acceptance nonetheless drives many to volunteer whenever the Alliance has a need. They always face the chance that great heroism may give them the acceptance they have wanted all their lives.
Also lore states that âStormwind has the largest population of half-elves anywhere in the worldâ, however we donât see a single one in Stormwind, so this should be fixed.
There are other significant half-elves in game/lore, such as Kalecgos, the dragon aspect, while heâs a dragon, his chosen non-dragon form is a half-elf, then thereâs also Finnall Goldensword whoâs the daughter of high elf Kilnar Goldensword and her father is rumored to be Daelin Proudmoore (aka, possibly Jainaâs half-sister), thereâs Magistrate Randalvarr, whoâs the Magistrate of Valgarde in Northrend, Galadin and Giramar who are the twin sons of Rhonin and Vereesa Windrunner, and also thereâs Alodi, who was the first Guardian of Tirisfal (before Aegwynn and Medivh).
Sadly for many of the Half-Elves in game, since Blizzard has failed to create a unique half-elf model, they ended up giving characters such as Arator blood elf models, and Kalec and Alodi models of humans, so would be nice if Blizzard fixed this discrepancy.
Also they can come in two flavors⌠there are Half-Elves who are the offspring of High Elf and Human parents, but in lore there are also half-elves who are the offspring of a human and night elf.

I never said that.
This goes against all the established lore.
They have explicitly stated that aside from the very young and the very old they would have been fine.
We even have the Highvale who broke free from all forms of Arcane addiction.
The Blood Elves just went the opposite way and it cost them. Thatâs the lore.
You need to stop making things up.
Except we know why they removed mana tap and we know exactly how the Blood Elves feed off of the Sunwell.
Read Chronicles.
thanks for citing speculation and your opinions as facts again
You just said all High Elves and Blood Elves would die from Arcane Addiction when the lore said thatâs not true.
Itâs on record that only the Very Young and the Very Old would have died from it.
Keal jumped the gun out of fear and was manipulated into following Illidan.
You canât make things up when when someone tells you the truth say itâs not.
withdrawal from magic was an issue the high elves struggled with daily. the withdrawal proved fatal to the very young, the very old, and the sick, and had grown steadily, worsening with time
as i sad the methods they used when the sunwell had been destroyed were always a short term measure, designed to stave off the inevitable while a permanent cure was sought. inevitably, they would give into apathy and then death. this brief period didnt last long enough to come to any definite conclusions only speculation
if it wasnt true alliance high/blood elves would still be dealing with this
It 100% would not have killed them. Just the very young and the very old. This has been shown and documented.
We even have Hivale breaking free from arcane addiction.
You are making up lore to suit your arguments instead of working your arguments to suit lore.
all we know about the few elves living in that hut is they dont like magic
It is unknown when exactly they arrived to the Hinterlands â it could be after the fall of Quelâthalas or any point before that. If the former, the Sunwellâs destruction might be the reason they stopped practicing magic.
this is literally all the lore there is about them
They appear in the Warcraft Legends Manga.
They have broken free from Arcane addiction and outlawed Arcane Magic.
Them not using Arcane Magic at all proves it is not 100% lethal like you claimed.
Its reasons like this Iâm also a big fan of Botani for the Alliance
Because I can see Tyrande hearing about how the Magâhar killed off all the Primals and how there are some Botani refugees who hoped that portal from the Magâhar recruitment and deciding that, yâknow what Ashenvale needs? Both Genesaur and a bunch of plantlife that can infect orcs and turn them into zombies that said Botani can control. This seems entirely a thing the NElves would like as allies
so like i said they dont use magic so what
how does this disprove that? weve already had this argument that the few elves in that hut dont use magic. it doesnt mean they arent connected to the sunwell and immune to withdrawal and there is no way to test your theory that it wasnt lethal because the sunwell was restored. but we do know the withdrawal was deadly to the very young, old and the sick and was only worsening with time
its still a moot point in the present
the blood elves are the high elves. they are biologically and thematically identical. as a result, the blood/high elf theme is now something that is now a unique part of the horde experience. high elves, because they are identical to blood elves, would offer the same experience. it would be like the alliance having access to a group of undead elves
Itâs not a theory itâs hard stated fact.
Arcane addiction was not lethal except to those in poor condition. It was not worsening with time. You are making all that up.
Itâs ridiculous.
This is the only point that matters. And the only one really needed for Blizzard to pull the trigger.
There are botani confirmed as allies of the Magâhar being on Azeroth.
