Can we please ban this annoying whisper addon that’s taking over trade chat?
Not only do I have to click through ten individual whispers telling me their alt can make my crap, but then I have to argue with the same mouth-breathing graduates that my listed price was 1K gold and not the imaginary 5K they think they’re entitled to.
This thing is swiftly becoming worse than run sellers because A) the idiots don’t read the requests and B) they get offended when you point out point A.
So the next time I type in trade: ‘LF smelly, stinky, sweaty, low I.Q. Jewelcrafter for 1K’ and then tell said bot to ‘take a shower’, they stop threatening me with false reports for being mean to the illiterate.

There are a lot of people who think mindlessly grinding world quests should pay gold forever.
Just let them afk and wait till you find one who works for tips.

Never had this happen so it must be fake news.

Addon? Good ol spreadsheet and copy/paste with polite lines to tell you I can help you. Not to worry about your crap though. At 1k am not logging over for that thanks.

Idk what server OP is on, but it does happen on Stormrage. You post in chat you’re looking for a specific craft and then immediately 5+ people are messaging you their profession link or saying they’ll jump on an alt to craft it.

I am also on Stormrage and it’s really annoying.

Is it a specific macro or premade message or something? Otherwise it’s just people replying fast. I’ve never been so annoyed by getting a quick craft that I need to make a thread about it lol. I just give my business to the first person to reply since I feel that’s most fair. I don’t owe anyone else a response.

It’s 100% an add on, because the messages are instant. You send the message then immediately are bombarded with whispers.

Ah, finally the perfect job for Elmyouu

It’s annoying because you list the commission in the listing, wait for the bot to log onto the right toon, and then watch as he declines the listing because ‘I’ll only make it for 5K’.

It’s an add-on, called craft scan. For those of us like me who have all the professions it’s amazing. And honestly 99 percent of my customers like it too- they just say “thanks, sending an order”, on log onto my alt and they get their item made.
What do you want us to do, hand type a message every time? How would that benefit you- it doesn’t add any ilvls to the craft if in wire the message by hand.
On your complaints about the price- people do that whether they use an add-on or not. One has nothing to do with the other. People have an minimum price they’re willing to take time to make something for. If they ask too much, keep looking.

So that’s how others get the crafts before I spend 15 seconds typing out that my alt can make something. The potential customers say that they got 5 tells already before I finished typing. That is really annoying.

It just annoys me when they say “just tips” Then get whiny about 5g
Sounds like you need to work on your people skills friend.

Yes, it does. Read the listing. Don’t auto whisper people if you like overcharging.

what’s the deal with agressively angry worgen being all bent out of shape over being expected to tip?
it’s a trend, apparently

Agreed! Same here, I do not whisper cheapsters.

Pricing is an negotiation. You say you want it for X. In tell you I’ll do it for Y. You can accept the counter offer or not. But that’s standard haggling, the same as every other game and in real life.

I found crafting tedious and a burden on gameplay before it was cool.

There’s no haggling. The price is in the listing, I have to wait for you to hobble your fat butt onto the appropriate alt, and then you decline the personal order because the commission is lower than you expect.
Then I have to start all over again, with the commission in the listing, only for that turd to do the same thing.
