I’m bent out of shape naturally, the arms are all curvy and the legs are square, body making a Q shape. But also because having to craft gear for my character to stay competitive is something I don’t want to do, much less if it requires being online at the same time as a crafter on my dead server.

I was just confirming that the OP wasn’t lying about their experience and that it’s a thing on the big servers.
I mostly craft within my guild and rarely seek out public orders.

Blizz needs to give us the option of buying a base item from the AH and let us slot in our own crests and sparks.
People can still do work orders for a better deal. Give the player the option to just buy it from the AH if they don’t want to spam trade chat

Crafting would vanish overnight. It is only through this annoying system it exists at all and why the parasites fight so hard for it.

You would have to worry, we get limited crafts per day in public. Your crap would stay there costing you a listing fee more often than not.
It’s not automated, but there are 100% addons to essentially turn your spreadsheet of copy pastes to a 1 button ordeal when a request pops up in chat. You might not use it but its extremely prevalent. In a world where the first whisper usually gets the commission stuff like this matters.

YOUR fees would have to compete with the other fees on offer. And then you would be back here to complain that your cheap fees are never taken.

You had my support until you started with this crap.
Work orders are only good for about three or four people on a server who no life work orders. The rest of us get none at all.
Id still take the fee that is 10% higher than your crap, your point?
I mean, if you say you’ll pay 1k for an order, they say they’ll do it because they just slam their addon without reading, and then they decline your order when they log over and only see 1k and demand 5k…
