I have been having this same issue since yesterday. There are several issues with the guild bank or related to the guild bank issue. If I try to deposit in my guild bank, and when I say “my guild bank”, I mean I created the guild bank and it is my guild, the items won’t transfer in. I cannot move items in my guild bank, nor can I remove items from my guild bank. When I close out of the bank and walk away from the guild bank, I still have the throw gold money button on my screen. If I try to mount at this point the mount is bugged and slides along the ground. If I’m on my hunter and this happens, my pets stay at the guild bank and it doesn’t matter where I go, but my pets will never come to me. Then if I try to log out I can’t. I have to close the window from my taskbar or task manager.
The other issue is that sometimes I will attempt to access my guild bank and get an error that says I’m not in a guild. I can open my guild window and confirm that yes I am still in my guild. Then I can walk away from the guild bank and get spammed with the message that I’m not in a guild.
I have disabled all addons, removed addons, logged out and in, exited the game, accessed toons on a different server… none of the normal troubleshooting has fixed the issue.
** Edit: I found a new issue related to guild bank issue, I have it set up for automatic repairs but I receive an error saying internal guild error. (Again this is my personal guild not a guild I joined.)
** (May 9th) new edit: Not in a guild message occurring more frequently when accessing guild bank now, found that logging out and back in sometimes fixes this issue.
Same problem with all Alts on 2 servers. Started after the May 7 patch
I’m glad someone else posted this, because I was losing my mind troubleshooting this for my wife. We’re seeing the exact same issues on her account, on every character.
I have the same problems with guild bank interaction. Any character interacting with guild bank becomes frozen.
I have alt-f4 to terminate wow window. Trying to login again, it says “a character with the same name exist” and does not let me login. Login into other character in the account does not help, I am the guild master, when I interact with guild bank, it says “I am not in a guild”. This game has broken too much, the developers rush new content too fast without proper testing and break other 100 working parts along the way. BUGS after BUGS. Someone at forums said that
the game is not "World of Warcraft " but has become “world of Bugcraft”
I too am seeing the same issues. I have had similar in the past but it has been doing this today the most. I log in to the toon access the Guild bank and my interfaces stop working. I cannot log out or exit the game without crashing the game.
Same exact thing here. Tried doing the Blizzard recommendations on support page and it made the issue worse. Hope they fix this soon.
YES!!! I opened a ticket and got a response that it might be my router… is then is it EVERYONES router?! Gah frustrated.

I cannot open my guild bank. I’m a guild officer and have been so for years. Edit to say I can open my personal bank normally. This issue may be related to our gulid roster not showing all of our online members.
I am having the exact same issues right now.
Same issue for two days and locked out of my guild bank. What is going on over there at Blizzard? This is a game breaking issue for many bankers / players!

I am co=gm and this is affecting all our players and will make raiding this weekend a mess as we store mats and repair money for raiders in the …you guessed it The guild bank!
This happened to an officer in my guild. She was on 2 toons at the same time lol. the first one was using the guild bank and crashed. she was not able to play the toon at all for the rest of the day. so she logged on an alt and saw the main still online haha. this is definitely a Blizzard issue.
Go to options, Social, and turn on Mature Language Filter. See if that helps.
This is what’s permitted me to access my guild bank through city banks. One of my guildies discovered this as a fix for the earlier problems using the LFG Premade Group tool, and it seems to fix some other issues.
I was hopeful, but nope. Now it tells me I’m not in a guild, but when I access my guild roster it shows me as away lol. I know the Mature language filter was a fix for the LFG issue, but I was fortunate to not have that problem.
It seems that there have been some temporary successes along the way. Thank you for the suggestion, it might help fix the issue for someone else until Blizz decides to actually address the issue instead of blaming systems and routers.
I’m seeing this again even after today’s mini-patch.
For me it’s certain toons and seems to be related to adding to stacks back to the GB.
What’s happening for me (on an M2 Mac - no judging) is that the interface keeps rolling but I can’t trigger anything like mounts or dialogues with NPCs. I can’t even exit the game. I have to wait for the timeout, get kicked, then log back in. It is behaving very much like a network D/C but I think it’s an actual crash that isn’t being handled correctly.

Still issues. I am now able to deposit and interact with the bank using the right click button. However, I am unable to withdraw anything using the same method. I have to drag the items from the guild bank to my bags.
This is, of course, as the guild leader…which has full permission and access to the guild bank.
Same here. Locks up my character and can’t play until they time out. Cannot do guild repairs due to “internal guild error.” I’ve also gotten an error message saying I’m not in a guild, when in fact I’m the guild master.
