Which is not the original version. Releasing the games as they were then was the original vision of Classic. So, you are in fact, cheering for changes to the original game.
Like any of these questions should matter. In your world you shouldn’t be able to play a game if you’re on the wrong faction or server or have free time during the wrong time of day? You people are actually awful.

Are you new? RDF is a gold mine for tanks. That’s when we originally started the whole “selling tank service/que”. It makes selling my service 10x easier lol.
Of course I will quit if they ruin the game again! I haven’t played their games in years. Why would I play something they ruin again?
BUT! They’re not going to do that so I made the choice to play again and it’s been a blast.

Agree. That’s why it’s such a toxic feature. Along with all the other toxic behavior it began to enable. Terrible feature.

Legitimate question: why does this ruin the game for you? You don’t have to use it. If the majority of the players want to use it, couldn’t you just group with other like minded people? Isn’t that the same thing they say when people complain about gatekeeping heroics? Why is this particular thing a bridge too far for you?

They won’t drop much. The game is too good. But it would be great if all these toxic people left. I think a little shrink would be great. Dragonflight will hopefully suck away the carebears. Blizzard will still make the same $$$. All will be good in the world.

I agree! Idc if they add RDF i’m all for it considering it’s only a benefit for me. I’d still premade the dailies with my guild bc it would be quicker with no hassle of carrying people. But I have no complaints if they add it or don’t.
The biggest issue for the lack of tanks , At least IMO is how groups perform.
In a guidie group, I’m allowed to LOS pull, get agro and enjoy myself. In an random group, I have to charge pull, they are attacking before I stop moving causing every pull to be a struggle. If i don’t pull fast enough for “them” they will pull for me, its infuriating.
There are also things like Shaman and Druids using push back spells which in a guildie group they would either use them better, or not at all. You also have 90% of the dps being paladins and DKS’ which means no offspec loot for the tank, like ever.
Be the change you want to be and tank yourself, when you see these glaring issues you will choose not to tank for randos’ either.

So it went from the people advocating for changes being toxic, to the people advocating for no changes being toxic. You really can’t make this stuff up.

Even with RDF, tanks (and healers at times) were so few and far between that Blizzard had to bribe them with extra goodies. My timing might be off but I feel like that started in Wrath not long after RDF was added as a result of DPS players crying on these forums about 40-minute queues.
Lack of tanks will always be a problem, RDF or no.
Yes , and mostly due to the problems I laid out IMO. Its not that people don’t want to tank, its that they don’t want to tank for jerk faces. People need to take a breath and let tanks fully pull and being tanking, its very frustrating otherwise.
Yeah. A lot of tanks/healers already got their pre-raid BiS and now don’t really have a reason to hit dungeons anymore. This is why I’ve told everyone who claims LFG works fine to wait a few weeks and say that.
so youre saying dont use LFG just get a guild. so if that were the solution there would never be ANY pug runs so no lfg no rdf. way to go genius.
I remain consistent. The game is great. The people advocating for the carebear features are bad for Wrath. Most of them are so emotionally immature they just resort to a bunch of personal attacks: Toxic
Absolutely I’d advocate for them leaving. The game isn’t what they want. It won’t ever be what they want. The ones I encounter are horrible people who put that on display; I’d love if they left this community.
i never had a lack of tanks in RDF. 15 minutes may have been the longest i ever waited for a group. and as a tank 10 minutes was the longest in RDF.
and as far as speed pull vs slow pull as a tank? if im the tank its my rules. dont like it, bounce. with rdf i will fill your slot in minutes. its the parties job to back the tanks play. you pull before im ready? im just gonna bubble and watch you die. when you respawn you either learned to let me do my thing or i will just let you die again. its my job as the tank to hold aggro, not steal it back from you, its my job as a tank to match my pulls to the ability of healer to keep up. its my job to keep aggro off the dps. you see… the tank is the core around which the rest of the group MUST revolve.
RDF, does indeed widen the healer, and tank pool.
RDF gives you access to players on other servers that may have a deeper pool in those classes then your own server with cross realm.

Right now, healers and tanks are finite due to the daily heroic lockout.
RDF allows tanks and healers to take more than one group per day to get their daily dungeon done. If one out of twenty tanks goes twice, on a server of 20,000, we’re talking Several Hundred extra players will get a group to get the daily done.
