I feel you on that but the skills they touched after making that statement are like saying you are cleaning your room, announcing to your parents halfway through, only for all the mess to be in your closet

nothing is going to change until the big damage amp modifiers of essence break and inertia are heavily nerfed or just outright removed. They cannot buff are main abilities w/o grossly over tuning our burst.
furthermore, the backlash for glaive toss being relevant is why they arent appearing to touch it.
imagine if they buffed glaive toss into old chaotic imprint as baseline and buffed its base damage

I know why many people don’t like it but I have to use it pretty often in pvp anyways just as a slow
tbh though nothing will happen at this point, we have all been hoping, talking, asking for anything

Sadly I think you’re correct
the results of those changes was at most, 1% dps increase. We need drastic buffs to chaos strike and blade dance outside of meta form.
They also need to rework our talents, there are several sore spots there about multipoint nodes, most notably darkness being 2 nodes, and a flipping capstone.
I want the old demonic, spend enough energy to stay in demon form as long as possible playstyle back personally. No other class/playstyle has been as much fun for me.
Fury warrior feels similar, but not much way to try and extend avatar, plus avatar isnt that cool of a visual. And I can use charge without a target. Plus no double jump, and I have play the wierd lizard people to get glide.
The funny part, they were talking about PvP and the resulting changes will make next to no difference.

you want to flip backwards every 25 seconds to make a burst window?
or fel rush everytime immo aura comes off CD? same thing, but we already have to try and juggle FR+IA, VR, and EB.
And on top of that, now your movement buttons are on CD.

This honestly, I’ve known it for awhile… they try to balance around this and it’s lame because we only do good damage in 4sec windows lol. Needs to be nerfed by half and the damage baked into our two core abilities blade dance and chaos strike.

essence break/inertia will not allow this to happen. the abilities amp to high via the modifiers. its been a problem for awhile now and needs addressed.
the mods in the discord actively hate and push back against this playstyle and would rather us focused into small shatter windows we have now. Sadly as long as they keep bucking the majority of the community, we will continue to suffer.
agreed, but the mods and fanbois of the mods in the discord do not like that and want us lumped into this micro burst window playstyle similar to a warrios colossal smash. When it came time for our sudo rework (if you want to call it that) All of them pushed for the current status quo we have now and it sucks. People pushed back but were silenced and flamed into shutting up or a few were outright banned for speaking a different opinion to what the mods wanted.
Again with the hate for the mods on discord. lol.
Just leave that part out and more people would actually listen to what you say.
As it stands it just looks like you have an axe to grind.

Seriously, dude cant make 2 posts or enter a DH thread without going on about the evil discord mod cabal that is clearly-somehow in control of havoc. At this point i honestly assume he is a troll (at least for that part, idk about his other posts).
If not a troll then yeah, he definitely needs to stop with it. It does absolutely nothing but detract from any point he tries to make.
it doesn’t help we only IA right before our burst windows because inertia is tied to it. How does that help sustain? Smart move Blizzard…

I was never there for that, I only recently got active on the discord and forums. But if that’s true it’s very unfortunate, I just feel stuck in limbo. Every balance patch has been a letdown with more and more static percentage buffs while other classes get new talents and full reworks. Some that didn’t even need it imo! Lol
