For the life of me I cannot remember the realm these were on but I had 10 Alliance characters varying from 110 to 50s or so that are just gone. Did I miss something? If I search those characters in the forum character select screen they are not their either. Happy to provide more info, I just really cannot remember server name.

You are absolutely correct. Oddly enough, it was not showing the number of characters next to the realm name. Thank you for checking that out and for the info!
Two things can cause the realm to no longer show the number of characters. If you haven’t logged into the characters for a number of years the number on the realm selection page and their armory page disappear. As well, the recent realm connections can cause the number to reset. In both cases, logging into the realm should repopulate the number. Logging into and out of the character should restore their armory page.
I had the reverse issue, when I first logged in I had dozens of fake characters on servers I no longer had characters on anymore. Once I tried to load those servers it showed the correct numbers for them but it happened. Def something off with all that.
That happened to me last week too. When I logged in, there were a dozen or so realms that showed I had characters on them, but no actual characters on any of the realms when I logged into them. Restarted the client and they were all gone. Really weird, but it only happened once, so I didn’t think much of it.
i’m missing abought 3 hord chars on korgath i have logged into that server about a of week ago but now i’m missing those char they where 2 max lvl a DH, Lock and a lvl 112 druid hopefully they could be restored or allow me to transfer to another server
Your characters are on Kargath, not Korgath.
Understandable confusion though. These two, plus Thunderhorn and Thunderlord 
I always mix them up!
ok found those characters on kargath but on server selection screen there not showing that i have characters on that server plus there missing on the app
