Multiboxing should be against ToS

Stop necroing 1 year old threads you human fools!

It’s literally because Blizzard isn’t going to say no to someone paying $60 a month to play their game. I think if they’d taken an ardent stance against it earlier on it might have helped keep people around (bots and farmers alienate regular players). But it’s too late now.

But it isn’t, next multibox complaint thread.

If it’s allowed, it’s not really cheating now is it?

What makes you think it’s a multiboxer?
If it was one player with using a multibox program, all their characters would be acting simultaneously. If 2 are doing nothing, it’s not someone using a multibox program.

How do you even know all the characters are owned by the one player? Going by the “facts” you’ve provided, it could just as easily been 2 players carrying the toons of 2 other players.

Thirdly, what makes you think they kicked you for only having one account? When you get kicked you don’t get any message popping up telling you why. You’re just suddenly out.

When you happen to feel animosity toward a group and something random goes wrong in your life, blaming that group might make you feel happier, but removing that group will do nothing to solve your problems. It will just leave you needing to find another group to hate.

Blah blah blah
Stop blaming your problems on other people. Multiboxing isn’t infringing on your ability to play the game end of story

This is how you deal with zombies.

I see many people claim automation, but automation is botting, or pressing 1 button and a sequence of actions happens without further input, like a rotation script. That is automation. Replicating keypresses is not.

Who’s to say OP wasn’t just toxic in the first place?

It is for grabbing herbs.

This is your reminder that Activision-Blizzard makes billions of dollars a year. They really could ban multiboxing and the bean counters wouldn’t even notice. The same way Blizzard bans countless people each year for actually breaking the rules.

But no, we’ve got this inane conspiracy theory that it’s “about the money” because some people refuse to believe that it could be allowed for any other reason. You might as well be arguing that they allow Death Knights “because of money”.

Make this argument as much as you like.

Blilzzard has, on multiple occasions, stated that you are incorrect. To ban this type of software would make it impossible (or nearly so) for many with certain disabilities from accessing and playing the game in any way.

Putting aside moral arguments for inclusion there are legal requirements (at least in the United States) that come into play if you fail to make provision for access to these people.

Sorry it frustrates y’all so much. I’d choose another windmill to tilt at, but you do what makes you happy.

Because its NOT a botter, which is PLAYERLESS AI, not a real human controlling it.
Good lord.

Its not against the rules until blizzard changes the rules. the OP is asking for blizzard to change the rules. So they arent crying wolf, they are asking for a rules change.

I agree personally. It allows so many unfair advantages.

It gives advantages, there’s no denying that. They are not unfair advantages tho, because everyone is allowed to do it.

Well, yes and no. Everyone “could” but it wouldn’t be prudent for me to have extra accounts AND pay their subs too. I have far too many other responsibilities to take care of.

unfair would YOU being prohibited from MBing.
Since ANYONE here can MB, sorry but no…it aint unfair.

so by your joke of a definition, anyone who can play more hours than you also has an ‘unfair advantage’.
