Just kill their lead one, the one who gets to each spot just that little bit before the others.
Leap of Faith them away from their others, cast MD onto them to kill them, tricks them, etc…
Then put them on ignore and you will never be put in a dungeon with them again.

I run two to roleplay sometimes. I don’t use any sort of program though, I kinda just tab between the windows and control one at a time and don’t do current content other than emissaries at the same time. Also use /follow to go from point A to point B.
But someone could argue that a guild can do that same thing, carrying two lazy players doing nothing and not letting you kick. Then what? It’s the same thing.
Though if Blizzard made is so that you can’t do outside programs with it, I wouldn’t care that much myself but I know some would. Outright banning the use of some accounts at once though I disagree with.
He is paying 4 times more than you. It happens maybe once per year where you feel slighted. No big deal. Get in a new dungeon.

So I should run my accounts through raids together? I always did them seperately because I thought doing them together would reduce my chances at a mount.
For some mounts, and I’m specifically talking about the Smoldering Ember Wyrm, it actually increases your chance at looting it.
It IS against the Tos. Requires a third party program.
Blizzard gets to chose when and where they enforce the ToS though.
Two accounts being run by one player isnt any different than two accounts being run by two players.

I know this is an old thread, but felt I had to input my 2 cents. While multi-boxing means more money for the company based on more accounts/game time, it is also a huge contributor to the destruction of the market. I’m hearing that as it’s not an automated system, and should be allowed. Problem is, it IS an automated system, as only one account is technically controlled, and the others are automated to repeat the same sequence. Therefore it should be banned…
THIS JUST IN…Multiboxing has been allowed by Blizzard for over a DECADE. Make all the whiner threads and comments you want, it’s still allowed. I’m GLAD I can multibox and I THANK Blizzard for allowing me to do it. =)

I’ll nominate this comment for the largest violation of tautology on the forums. It’s also idiotic. To be clear, one person running two accounts is one person running two accounts. Wow! Now two accounts being run by two players would imply 2 individuals are involved. There are two discreet entities controlling their characters. If you’re using software to control multiple characters, that’s no different than playing WoW using a remote client and that violates terms.
Why did you bring up this two month old thread when there are plenty of more recent threads about multiboxing?

No. It does not.
Third party programs are not against the ToS.
The level of automation you’re talking about is the line where botting occurs, which is not how multiboxing works.
Honestly it just sounds like you’re just ignorant to how the multiboxxing software works.
You run multiple instances of the game. The software splits up your keystrokes and sends them all to each client. If you don’t have the “main” set to follow, and you have broadcast keystrokes turned on, you can actually move them all independently at the same time. Not very effective because the camera angles and such will mess with each clients ability to go the same direction as the other ones. So that’s why the main must be set to follow.
And thanks to the software, me pressing “1” goes to all clients rather than just the one in the foreground. This isn’t automation. It is still 1 button press per action per client.
don’t be salty that you can’t afford or run multiple clients.
Just mo money for blizzard-lying hypocrites they are since they allow cheating as long they pay more money.

People do this without multiboxing. Got in an island with some people and one was afk. I voted to kick other guy goes that’s my mom no lol and kicked me, deserter debuffed. Great system
