Are they breaking the rules? No? Then they’re not cheating. Your feelings don’t come into play here. It’s like saying you think airplanes are cheating because they defy gravity.
That’s because you assume everyone gets happiness from the same activities.
Imagine the thing in life that makes you happiest, now imagine someone feels that way about licking rocks. What’s wrong with them licking rocks and being happy? There’s nothing sad about that, I’d send them some rocks for their birthday lol
I could multibox if I wanted to do so but have always felt it was wrong despite being allowed by Blizzard. Farming is not the only thing they do - I recall years ago in an Alterac Valley a multi shaman (about 6 or 8 - was hard to see) chain lightning’d a group of us guarding a tower - simultaneously. There was simply no way to counter that. Instant death for us all. Trying to defeat the shamanses was also artificially difficult as they could do things in perfect unison. A group of individual players would never be able to accomplish such a thing.
On the farming front, reducing prices at the AH is a specious argument. Multiboxing may be forcing people to the AH to pay gold for something they might have otherwise farmed themselves. Seeing a flock of druids drain all the nodes in an area is just disheartening.
I could go on but I’ve never felt multiboxing should be allowed. It feels like botting (one master computer controlling many others) and there are good reasons why people are upset with those who perform this practice.
