Because if people were looking for a single toon experience they would be playing a single toon? Also if you look at something like a fair PVP setting 1 toon doing as much damage as two toons is not the same as 2 toons being able to gang up on 1.
What I like about multi-boxing is that I can do things a bit more efficient for what I do. Keep in mind that this is from my classic multi-boxing experience.
Instead of sending mats through the mail and having to wait. I can just trade with my other toon and be done with it.
That wonderful run through the swamplands to get to IF. It becomes less tedious if I have X number of toons on follow instead of doing each one at a time.
I completely agree. It sucks to find out that your 1 character you have gathers like 20 of a herb then find out that a multi boxer of 5 accounts is able to obtain 5 times that amount in the same amount of time it took you to get that 20.
Then that person posts that amount at a lower cost making it so you kind of have to post at that lower price making your work feel like it wasn’t worth it. Then those people give up and just buy the items on the AH at that cheap price.

The AFK farm need to be hotfix by blizzard. Infinite spawns are a bad thing.
Node tap is the usual, you’re lucky as a player to have a chance at multi-tap
Not all multiboxer engage in the same activities.
Fun things to do as a multiboxer?
Dungeons, Epic BG, Islands, Warfronts, Mythic+, Raid LFR, run old raids, solo current raid bosses and world bosses.
Not all multiboxer are out to get rich.
The complaints really come down to two issues—Zin’anthid and PvP.
The PvP problem is simple—group up with other players or turn off warmode if you don’t want to PvP.
The Zin’anthid problem really boils down to people wanting to herb their way to a long boi and are mad that there’s competition. They don’t want to learn to play the auction house like a normal person. Instead they scapegoat highly visible players for a clever use of game mechanics.
While they’re trying to take away a playstyle from everyone including those who don’t farm at all they could be pushing Blizzard to fix things.
- Less aggressive CRZ / more sharing.
- Making nodes unique per person.
- Putting Zin’anthid in more places.
It’s easier to complain than to push for solutions.

You purposefully missed the point of the comparison because you don’t have a rebuttal bravo.
Just because multiboxing is allowed doesn’t mean it should be. It accomplishes the same thing as bots, which is allow for an output greater than what a single player is normally capable of. Because botting is banned under under these premises, multiboxing should be too.

Yet you ignored the rest of my post where I explained how multiboxing is similar to botting. The comparison is valid and on topic because both give an unfair advantage to players via making use of 3rd party programs.

You’re correct. I’m here to play the game like a normal person, not turn the AH into the NYSE.
Incorrect. It boils down to disapproval of exploitation and people like you who defend it because it favors you. If you can engage in multiboxing, learn to accept that there will be people who disapprove because you’re taking advantage of their limitations.

While thord party software does allow a more efficient multi-boxing experience. A player can multi-box without using any third party software.
That’s how I do it anyways.
