No, they are flooding the market making gathering professions a waste of time for conventional players. But you already know that and just wanted your oneliner.
More like: “It’s so terrible that this person has 9 extra copies of himself to work 10 jobs and earn 10 times as much disposable income despite working the same job I do!”
I don’t understand this issue. If herbs are cheap, it means that you can buy them and craft things without wasting time gathering and are free to play more of the game you actually enjoy.
Multiboxer have the same limitation as a single boxer. (food, sleep, work, life)
Bots have no limitation, bots need no controller.
If botting was legal in wow. OMG, you would have a whole different economy. Im talking in the silvers. Gold would be worthless and people would trade with 475boe and hold them as tokens. (like in diablo 2 where you traded items with others 1 helm = 6 pants+12 gems)
But the other people have the possibility to also have those other copies. It comes down to not everyone having the same finances.
It’s no different than one person being able to afford a new house while I live in an apt.
For soem reason it’s things like this that make me ask myself, “Why are people feeling like they need to guilt trip people because they have more disposable income?”
Sometimes sacrifices can be made. I don’t stream movies or have a car. So that leaves me with more disposable income to do things with. Well instead of spending it on something I don’t enjoy, I spend that money on something I do enjoy and I enjoy WoW.
More power to them if they want to do that then I guess. I am not saying Blizzard should stop multi boxing completely. I think they need to make adjustments to what is allowed to be done while multi boxing.
They need to fix the overly-aggressive crz in nazjatar. They need to change how nodes work so they’re personal and not all in the same place. They need to make more spawn points for Zin’anthid such as on beaches of other zones.
They need to go the Guild Wars 2 route of gathering nodes: All nodes are available to every single player, no matter how many players gather from a single gathering node. Each node respawns (for a given player that gathered a node) in roughly 15-20 minutes.
Granted, that would probably depress herb/ore prices even further, since multiboxers would just scale up their boxing operation upon figuring this out… (Come to think of it, that’s probably why keycloning is banned in GW2.)
