You aren’t wrong, but when it comes to multi boxing and it starts to effect the other people in the game that makes the game less more enjoyable or effects their gameplay experience. Don’t you think that the company that runs that game may need to step in and make those changes?
There is nothing wrong with playing a MMO as a single player, but if you are going to multi box to benefit your single player experience more and it effects others in the community, then there is a problem that needs to be addressed.
Right which supports my claim that it is a blight on the community. Some people would say that goes against the entire reason MMO’s exist.
I do not have a problem with your reasoning. If you want to play by yourself, play by yourself, but play on one character. Its circumventing game design decisions and gives a single player an unfair advantage over those who do not multibox. Why not just turn on an option for all characters that make them do as much damage as 3 characters?
Nah. Just because it isn’t against the rules doesn’t mean the community has to accept it. Multiboxing clearly goes against the spirit of the game, especially in PvP, and people are right to shun you for it.
You may as well be asking people to talk about the good things about NAMBLA.
Classic was fine, could only be tapped once, not 10 times per 1 person.
What? lmao
You’re really reaching big guy, not sure what age, driving record has to do with multi-boxxing. I doubt you’d be safer on the road since Alzheimers has obviously taken its toll and you’ve already forgotten what we’re talking about.
Generally speaking, anything someone does will have an impact on someones playing experience. It’s an open world.
I think a company should make changes to the model if they feel that a change needs to be made. I also feel that players should be able to voice their reasoning as to why they think the change should / shouldn’t be made.
You dodged my question. Should Blizz implement a way for a single character to do as much damage as three, and if no, how is this different than multiboxing?
Three characters is three characters. The number of players behind them is irrelevant. As long as they are PLAYER controlled you really have no argument here.
Then explain to me the difference between 3 characters, and 1 character that is as powerful as 3 characters. They are functionally identical. Why not allow a single character to be as powerful as 3 if you are going to allow multiboxing?
I had nothing against multiboxers until I came across one myself while herbing in Nazjatar. It’s fine that they have the money and time for so many accounts but as others have mentioned before, all it does is drown out the efforts of ‘casuals’ like me just trying to make a dime on the AH so that I can afford some essentials and maybe the occasional game time.
Technically, it’s unfair that I, for instance, have to spend say 4 hours gathering 400 zinanthid only to sell them at a highly deflated price because a multiboxer keeps reducing the prices. And there’s nothing I can do about it.
Just because blizzard doesn’t say it’s cheating doesn’t mean it’s not. That’s a stupid argument. There are plenty of RL instances of people bypassing the law and getting away with it because of loopholes.
