anyone, even if they’re on a trial account and not paying, should be able to do anything they want to do at any point assuming they’re not violating ToS. he was. so he got hit. someone who is hardware boxing though isn’t breaking the rules and won’t get into trouble. blizz specifically said hardware is fine. you guys don’t seem to understand that boxing was caught in the crossfires, not what they were trying to prevent. if they wanted to ban boxing they would have.

People thinking hardware solutions are the way are in for a rude awakening someday when they crack down on them in the future. Hardware solutions aren’t popular right now because software does it which is why they didn’t target it. What do you think they’ll do when everyone goes to hardware?

More than 10 might get dicey though. I’ve seen people doing 20 and 30 before the software ban.
they won’t though. i want anyone who does carries to be permabanned as well but assuming that they’re not doing them for real money they’re fine, and not cheating. just like boxers who aren’t using software aren’t cheating.
the problem is that people think of multiboxing and moltiboxing with software as synonymous when really theyre not. it’s not even worth trying to explain.

I just like how people think that the ToS not explicitly wording something, despite clearly targeting the behavior, will shield them.
Especially when verification of such actions will likely be done just by watching them.
