Lol this gets brought up on every single expansion and every single private server forums. Here’s the real issue your having, you can’t figure out how to multi box or you can’t afford it. Multi boxing has never been game breaking. So what if one person decides to level multiple characters at the same time. This is such a rare occurrence it has no effect on anyone around them. So what’s the real issue? Are u mad u got ganked by double droods or something? Let it go lol. They have addressed this so many times it’s unreal people still whine about it. It’s not cheating, it’s not effecting you, and it’s not going away. Good luck.

Multiboxing really isn’t optimal for everyone and if you think so you’re just bad at the game. Multiboxing is fun if you’re interested in something that’s a huge headache and enjoy spending more money on the game.
I’m not even going to bother reading beyond the OP on this one. I hate multiboxing as well, and I don’t think it should be allowed.
But it’s not worth fighting Blizzard over at this stage in the game. They’ve always allowed it, and making a big fuss about it is an uphill battle that will go nowhere. Personally all I really have power to do is to not run dungeons with multiboxers. And I have to be ok with that being the extent of it.
I just want to say that I find multiboxers sad, pathetic people but I see no issue with what they’re doing.

It should be confined to retail. Allow all of that ish there if you want but why go through the supposed trouble of recreating the experience when you’re allowing people to mbox an insane amount of characters?
Very very few were mboxxing then as so many were running the game on toasters.
A multiboxer helped me with a quest last night.
I ran the game on an extremely low tier e-machine and even I was able to multibox back then.
2 dudes killed me in the world, they camped me, it upset me, i couldn’t beat them 1v2. i bought subs for 5 accounts, and steamrolled them. mmm taste my credit card.

So your answer to a 2v1 is to go back and make it 5v2, this has nothing to do with multiboxing and is a HORRIBLE argument to use against it. try again
Online gaming, with MMO’s requiring a lot of cpu, was still very new then. and the cpu’s were weak af. Quadrupling(or more) your load on an e-machine? I’d like some kind of proof of it. Got any videos?

2? Meh. I thought we were talking in relative terms to today.
Seen a few on my realm and reported them, but there’s nothing else we can do. We can’t force Blizzard to care or enforce their own rules. Greed usually wins out in the end. They aren’t going to ban the guy with 5 subs, no matter how many rules he violates. He paid for a premium, and that’s exactly what he’ll get.
People like you make no sense to me. You’re actually the worse person in this scenario by wasting a gm’s time with a pointless ticket against a guy who broke no rules. If anything guys like you should be banned
