Multiboxing is out of control

so basically your upset that now instead of you being able to hoard all the trade goods for your own profits someone else is beating you out so youll blame it on multi boxers all because its ruining your own monopolizing of the market

you sound like that guy on yahoo that’s crying because he bought over 17k bottles of hand sanitizer and now he cant sell them because Amazon and eBay suspended his online stores so now hes trying to gain sympathy from the public and its actually making his rep worse

That is absolutely terrible logic. People used to all be able to farm Zin’athid and everyone could have a go at it. Nowadays UNLESS you’re the multiboxer you can’t get anything, why are you defending them?

well what do you expect Blizzard to do? I mean if a person walks in a store and only buys a candy bar and right as theyre walking up to the counter a split second before they get there another customer with a full buggy slips in and starts unloading is the manager supposed to come out and shake their finger and say you are being rude and to stop doing it?

bottom line is MBers are paying customers as well and since they aren’t breaking any rules Blizzard will basically tell you theres nothing violating the TOS and their hands are tied

Their hands are not tied by any terms. They can just as easily prohibit multiboxing as they’ve disabled many of the most basic macros. If another set of devs come in, they could have an opposite position. They just don’t think it’s a problem that needs any addressing. I personally don’t believe it’s out of control as some do, but I’m a user of herbs and not a farmer, so my view is biased.

Just revert the nodes to single-use.

If a multiboxer is able to play 5 characters at once, all the while grabbing zinanthid (each miles apart from the other) then let him have at it.

For who - the dozen or so people complaining in threads like this?

Kinda odd since I can count 18 from the last year. They just need to tie nodes to accounts or IP address/mac address or something of the like so a multiboxer just gets the same as every other SINGULAR player.

There’s more than half a million tidespray linen right now on illidan. Yesterday it was 750K. Let’s get real here, what real player lunatics would farm this much? lol

They don’t. There’s multiboxers that spam macros in certain spots to target and moonfire/sunfire… etc. Also there’s botters that have taken to multiboxing because it’s much harder to tell the difference and harder to really report it all.

Stuff like this where they get to farm everything and basically control server economies on some items is a couple of the reasons something needs to be figured out.

Exactly!

I only play with warmode on (former pvp server). I don’t see many but the ones I run into on warmode arr generally not farming mats. They mostly span one ability until you die.

They die easy if you kill the head but damn are they f***ing annoying. It should be against tos to multibox but…money talks.

You dont need third party software or macros at all you can set your mouse and keyboard to be open to all instances of wow on your computer even if its tabbed out. Also in your post history you claim multi boxers are responsible for insanely high auction house prices? So pick a side

None its called stockpiling a very common auction house theme I kept 12k ziln until the week of herioc launch in 8.3 then sold them for 250g each if i sold them earlier I would have only gotten 40-50g each

Just wanna post here the fact that I went to do Iron Docks for my Pepe achievement yesterday and saw an entire TRAIN of boosted tauren druids standing outside the instance and going in one at a time in a very precise manner. By the time I cleared it and went back out (didn’t have my Garrison stone and wanted to use Delvar’s portal), they were still going. Had to be more than 30 at least. And I suspect multiboxing because they all looked generally the same (both genders and different horns, but same fur and mostly same faces).

Not mad about it, just astounded.

Come to Ravenholdt, there’s at least 3 sets of multiboxing in Nazjatar.

Nope, I’m good.

You can’t make multiboxed characters enter an instance in that manner.

They sound like bots, and I hope you reported them.

There is no sensible argument to prove multiboxing is cheating or unfair. It’s absolutely an advantage but the fact that it’s sanctioned by Blizzard and that anyone can do it means it isn’t unfair. There’s nothing stopping someone from buying a second account either with gold or real money.

Stop that. Multiboxing is not automation. It’s not even remotely close to being automation. Just because you refuse to do any actual research into how it works does not mean it’s automation. You can’t just use that word as a cudgel for something you don’t like and don’t understand.

That’s most likely botting. A multiboxer would run in as one big clump.
