You just keep pushing it back dude but you never give an answer answer. Now the question is why? is it unfair because they paid money?
He already answered it, so why not scroll up?
yeah its unfair that a player should be able to gain the advantages of a group without having to group up simply by paying more money than another player.
But this is false. They don’t get the advantage “simply” by paying more money. They have to develop each individual character.
I’ve pointed this out to you several times, but you seem to be impervious to facts, truth, and all things correct.
Yeah it really sounds like you’re saying I’m beneath you simply because you spend more money per month on the game than me, as if multiboxing is any sort of measure of effort or determination, when in reality it’s nothing more than a crutch.
Also, if you’re going to act all high-and-mighty because you think being able to afford an additional $15/month (which is what we were really talking about, not the initial $15/month of having one account) makes you better than at least have the stones that come with the attitude instead of putting words in other people’s mouths and then turning around and trying to save face claiming “that’s not what I said!” like a coward.
the character development rate is actually negligible as the ability to solo dungeons allows you to endlessly farm any dungeon you want for any piece of gear
Why are we rehashing this? My statement to you was that I looked down on you because you want other people to be blocked from having an option simply because you either don’t want to pursue that option or can’t.
No.
No.
Anything else?
No, this is not true for dual boxers, triple boxers, or quadraboxers. You are making blanket statements that don’t even apply to the majority of multiboxers. Try again.
its true that they can endlessly farm any dungeon for any piece of gear. this is an empirical fact and will continue to be factual even after you deny it.
No, this is only true for pentaboxers who make 5 man teams. A dual or triple boxer cannot “endlessly farm” dungeons for level appropriate gear.
i agree. you are correct, only pentaboxers can reliably do so
So now we’re right back to where you got confused earlier: your issue isn’t with multiboxing, per se, but with scale.
my issue is with players gaining an unfair advantage over other players by means of paying more money
Okay, now we’re at the point where you just repeat yourself despite being corrected.
They’re not gaining any advantage by means of paying more money. Any advantages derived from multiboxing are derived from developing more characters, and there’s no money shortcut for that.
they gain the advantage of a group without having to group up with other players or coordinate with other players
After putting in dozens of hours of effort. Not simply by flashing their credit card.
by multiboxing they are able to multiply their efforts across 5 characters during development, and then when development is not under scrutiny, its their power level that comes into play in pvp, and their ability to kill mobs and farm gold.
Again, not by simply flashing their credit card. Also, for many things, multiboxing divides effort.
the only way to multibox is to pay more money than another player playing normally. there are many aspects to the game and multiboxing allows you to access some of the more difficult content that is gated off from the solo player
That guy running around duskwood with 3 mages spamming Arcane Explosion sure looked like he was working up a sweat!
I’m starting to think we’re arguing about 2 completely different types of multiboxers though:
The kind that just make multiple characters to tag along and be able to mass pull for quests and control spawn areas.
And the guys that legitimately want multiple high level characters with only going through the leveling process as few times as possible.
Both exist. My issues really only occur with the former, as they’re usually also the type to blatantly decline my invite and /point /laugh
