Multiboxing = Cheating

Grouping up gives an unfair advantage.

You can control multiple computers with a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Multiboxing software merely emulates that hardware solution.

And it’s not automation because at no point is the software controlling any of the characters instead of the player.

Blizzard has already decided. They decided when I was in my mid-twenties that multiboxing was allowed. I’m now in my early forties. If you want to re-tread this same discussion in fifteen years, I’d be happy to oblige you.

It’s not unfair if any one is allowed to multibox. If they don’t have the time, money or don’t wish to do so, that doesn’t mean it’s unfair.

People have a right to their opinions, but all this talk about it being unfair? Nonsense.

Eventually it’ll become more and more of a problem since more and more of the MBs are showing up, We are already seeing more and more of it, it’ll come down who is willing to put up with it the changes that blizz has to make to the game due to MBing an those who will move on to a more evenly balanced game . But it is a form of exploitation. (imho)

They DID decide. The page on boxing was updated very recently.
Boxing permitted.

no…its literally not.
Exploiting in this context is taking advantage of some flaw to get advantage.

In video games , an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game’s designers.

There is no flaw. the game launcher LITERALLY is designed to run up to EIGHT accounts simultaneously.

I didn’t say they opposite, I only say they make the rule, some people are asking to change their stance. It’s up to blizz ot decide if they want to open that can of worm.

Rules are not the constitution of america, its easy to change

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:
again…they just decided about two months ago
Tossing fits about something youve been given an answer to isnt going to change anything

Personally I dont care if people mbox, I just think the discussion is interesting.

So you having 8 computers with 8characters linked (example know it can be more) up using the same game mechanics then a person with one computer and one character doesn’t give you a advantage and make you richer over that person that is designed to have a character run through the system?

My 5 button mouse gives me advantage over someone with a 3 button mouse

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:
you can box on ONE machine, guy…I know…I did it for a bit.
its permitted by the rule maker…the game is literally designed to allow it.
End…of…debate

It is interesting because people like to make up a lot of stuff to fit their agenda.

Is the game designed for you to run 8 characters all together mechanics wise?

dude…do even know how to play this game lol?
right now I can use ONE game launcher and have 8 retail windows open playing them.
I boxed without addons. so yeah…it can be done by using in game macros.

HOWEVER THIS IS NOT RELEVANT…
BLIZZARD ALLOWS BOXING AND THEY ALLOW THE USE OF ADDONS TO DO IT

literally END of debate

Yes. You don’t have to do anything fancy to launch multiple copies of the game.

Wow getting testy, just asking a question here, if it so easily done and the game supports so well, why doesn’t everyone do it so easily.

They don’t want to :man_shrugging: I didn’t want to multibox until I got to 50 characters and needed another account. If I have to make another account I may as well multibox too

It may have been covered, but are you aware that Blizzard can enforce their TOS at their discretion? Those who multi-box are spending much more money than the typical WoW patron. Blizzard’s primary interest is not your having fun, but being profitable. That’s all there is to it. Anyone who has told you otherwise is gravely mistaken.

I personally cannot fathom what drives the multi-boxers to waste such money and time on this dreadful excuse for a game, but to each their own. Of course, I still have my reasons for playing which are not understood by most whom I meet.
