Not really, you say that is the reason Blizzard takes no action but you have no actual proof of that. It is opinion only.
It was implied but not stated outright. It was still rather rude.
Usually, they just call you a troll when you don’t agree with their feelings and opinions.
What’s being won?
Literally what’s being won?
Can’t be cheating if it’s not against the rules
Dislike it all you want it’s still not cheating
What’s conveniently being ignored is the no one has yet to say how it’s p2w
And what’s being won?
There’s nothing a multiboxer gets that isn’t available to all players.
But
Multiboxing, or playing multiple World of Warcraft accounts at once, is not a violation of our Terms of Use
Does.
Got any evidence?
And how is this breaking anything?
And how is this breaking anything?
No. We consider it be an alternative playstyle;
I guess Blizz is hilarious too then?
Multiboxing characters don’t do any extra damage, they do damage appropriate for the gear they have.
This doesn’t happen
You’re playing 20 characters at once, why would you expect to do less than 20 characters worth of damage?
This doesn’t happen
It’s not cheating
Or maybe because botters are automating
Of course you have evidence of this?
Or maybe they are banned because they are automated bots?
Can’t be cheating if it’s not against the rules
They make the game they make the rules
If they said it was allowed, day 1 of WoW, then that’s the rule of the game you chose to play.
It’s not cheating.
Cheating isn’t ok, but it’s not cheating
I’m sensing some assumptions in here lol
Is not automation by our standards. This is why multi-boxing is just fine.
Blizzard has already stated multiple times that Multiboxing is not against the ToS.
Multibotting is just sanctioned cheating.
That is an oxymoron buddy.
Until you can prove my account is greater than your account it is completely fair.
Then it’s not cheating
Yep.
People will bend over backwards, until they are in weird contortionist like poses and find any little loophole they can think of to try to justify it, but at the end of the day, it’s still wrong. Doesn’t matter what they say or how they try to justify it.
Not at all, there is a common human sense of fairness being violated by corporate greed.
Still an oxymoron, those two words contradict each other.
Multiboxing is not automated at all. Try again when you’ve done any research into how multiboxing actually works.
So that means anyone who mines a node that someone else has already mined is guilty of “duplication”. That’s what happens when an anti-multiboxer starts redefining terms, they get so vague and ridiculous that they apply to virtually anyone who plays the game.
Would multiboxers be more, or less, of a disruption than communities like RUIN that regularly bring the servers to a screeching halt during Battle for Nazjatar?
No, it just means that you can’t wriggle your way out of something by saying you didn’t technically break any rules.
Really? Then that means you’re for restricting the amount of time that people can play.
Not much bending to be done when Blizzard says they are fine with it.
Blizzard: Multiboxing is allowed.
Anti-multiboxers: But what could that possibly mean?!?
Not at all, all accounts are equal and everyone has the same access to accounts.
(quietly readies my lance, saddles up my donkey and looks around for the nearest windmill to challenge)
I’ll be your Sancho Panza
Someone needs to read the EULA. Simply using third party software is not against the rules.
Also? Activision-Blizzard earns billions a year. The small amount that they get from multiboxers is barely a blip at that scale. They absolutely could ban the practice tomorrow if they really wanted to. But they don’t. Because the real reason they allow it is because they view it as an interesting way to play the game.
