Actually, you are quite wrong, they will and have called out players that misleading and lie about punishments received. Let me dig up a few.

What does this have to do with multiboxing? Have you seen the streams of Druids entering instances? They don’t need multiboxing software to “appear legitimate” when moving gold around.
They might give out some additional information into why it was suspended beyond “because I reported myself”.
Do you understand how transactions are flagged between players if you trade large amounts of gold with no item of equal value in return? This is negated by being on the same Bnet.

Again, I know the why. The email that I copied gives the why. At best they would say to appeal it through xxx link. That is literally what they do for EVERY my account has been banned thread.
Then you explain how these Druids are streaming into dungeons and somehow making a profit without needing to rely on multiboxing software to do it.

On live. Iron Docks is a popular spot to watch Druids as they stream into the dungeon.
Not that it matters either way, it’s not like Warden cares if you’re on Classic or Retail.

What i don’t get is, if multiboxing is allowed, why is botting not allowed? Its the same thing. Why ban someone for auto fishing? why ban someone for auto farming. The person who is multiboxing isn’t doing the content 5 times, they are doing it once. just like if i want to farm a herb, i need to farm it 5 times in order to, well farm it 5 times. But if I create a bot, I can tell it to get a specific path, and loot everything it sees. how is that any different. I did the content once, im paying for the account, why not build a bot to do it 4 more times.

i did… its not convincing… all i see is, blizzard doesn’t want to ban multiboxing cause money. Botting pays for subscriptions too. as long as im not teleporting or duping items, botting should be allowed. As long as the bot plays like a real player. then it should be allowed.
