easy fix, leave the MBoxer’s alone, put a 20 sec cooldown on any nodes single use node(item is busy) before the hard cap where the node despawns ~90 sec ,
I don’t get why it’s so hard for antiboxer Karens to stay in their own lanes or suggest actual fixes for the actual problems.
I don’t farm or pvp yet they want to take away my playstyle for no reason aside from wanting to have the power to dictate how others play the game because it makes them feel powerful and special.
To them, multiboxing is creating a problem. And while you may not agree with their reasoning, that does not mean it isn’t valid.
I personally could care less about global warming but that does not mean it isn’t affecting others somehow.
Repeating that they’ve “failed” is just silly. There is no win/loss to be had here. Some people hated the way SPriest played out. Those who liked it said things just like you did and how the "whiners have lost. SPriest is getting changed. People disliked twinking and twinks would call those against “whiners” and say “repeating the same wrong comments” yet twinking was changed.
Nothing wrong at all with expressing how you feel on a subject. If you think otherwise, you’re in the wrong country.

To be fair, stating my character is a blue human is a fact. It can be proven or disproven. Opinions cannot be proven or disproven. They can be supported with evidence to tip the scales but they cannot be proven as absolute.
EDIT: However, you said “blue.” There is the whole deal with the “what color is this dress?”
When talking to a color blind person it no longer is fact.

For example on Mekkatorque fight they had to call the symbol name and not the color for me.

Multi-boxing is a huge problem as proven by the many well thought out and constructive posts here. Seeing as there have been 0 posts with any real evidence or arguments to the contrary here (or anywhere for that matter) I think we can safely say this is an important issue that Blizzard needs to look at and address before SL launch.
Sometimes, problems can be problems without them having a competitive effect. I don’t blame anyone for being miffed that it takes a multiboxer a fraction of time to gather the same amount of herbs, even if they all go on the AH and all sell. It is totally natural to be upset when you see what you consider to be a form of cheating, even if it doesn’t personally impact you.
That being said, there are plenty of arguments about why it does impact others. Flooding the market with materials gathered much more quickly through multiboxing makes the price drop, disproportionately impacting players who are only gathering on one character. I’m not sure why that keeps getting ignored.
If two players gather 100 herbs an hour each, there are 200 herbs in the market after an hour. If they each sell for 2 gold, each player makes 200 gold.
If one player is now a multiboxer with 8 accounts, he can now get 800 herbs an hour. The market price drops a ton. If the price gets cut in half, the solo player now is only making 100 gold off the same hour of work, while the multiboxer is now making 800 gold off the same hour of work. Even with the price getting cut in half, the multiboxer increases their gold/hour by 4x over playing solo (and 8x over the new amount the solo player is making). The multiboxer would still be above break even so long as the price didn’t drop to 25 silver (which would be an 87.5% drop in price of the material).
It’s a simple example, and I know the market is more complex, but I’m not sure how that isn’t a valid reason to be upset by it. And depending upon the number of active farmers, it doesn’t take many multiboxers to completely throw things out of whack. A multiboxer will make more so long as the prices don’t drop by a fraction equal to their number of accounts, whereas a solo player will usually always suffer from oversupply.
To be fair, while yes, there is a lot of deflecting going on from those who support, we can’t say there is 0 arguments to the contrary.
I hang out in WM off on Horde (10% does not outweigh the risks to me) and I do not farm herbs so multiboxers do not bother me. If I want herbs, I can buy them since multiboxers sell them cheap.

The argument is that your issue isn’t with Multiboxing. Multiboxing is fine on its own.
Said many time, Your issue is with gold making and how gold is being made. Multiple characters tapping the same node in a restricted area since all end-game material come from that zone.
Your issue is with people who can almost-AFK and grind grey items and raw gold in Hyperspawn location.
How to fix? Blizzard manage better the hyperspawn, don’t trigger Hyperspawn if It’s the same player, only when you see tons of different players waiting in an area to finish a quest. This way AFKMultiboxer will move away eventually when the spawn is too slow because they’re theonly 10 person in that zone and have been there for 6hs.
How to Fix Herbs? Bring patterns that require NEW herbs, Alternate Herbs and Herbs that you can gather at more than 1 location. And on content patch, bring new patterns that require a mix of either old herbs or new ones. This way people can go farm anywhere away from the crowd.

Honest question: besides gold farming and PvP, what else do you use multiboxing for? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a multiboxer just out and about questing, leveling, or in a dungeon/raid. What else are you doing?
