so… what was the point of the trains?
(i never saw any, so i’m just curious)
the only boxers i saw during mop were doing fun stuff like shutting down serpents spine pvp vendors, or taking over cities.

correct. Even the blues have said that.
So you’ve just been agreeing with what I’ve been saying literally this entire time.
Idk. Just saw em flying around like a train lol. Maybe they were doing pvp while farming. I didnt see them often, but they were there. The lead was level 90 while the followers were not even 90, knew right then they were hacking.
IF they are being banned, its not just for simple MBing which doesnt violate the TOS as per blizzards page on MBing and blue comments themselves.
People ARE going to have to get over it.
Though we can rest assured that IF blizzard did ban MBing (I couldnt care less either way), these same people will be in here crying about druids ‘stealing’ their nodes next LMAO.
If they cant MB, they’ll just get 3 of their guild buddies to druid farm with them and the zones will be picked just as clean if not more so.
What?
Ive MBed with a 120 and a lower level character. what does hacking have to do with it?
yup, but I disagree that Blizzard is making boatloads of money from the boxers. I wish I could find the blue quote on the old forums, they said it really doesn’t affect their bottom line all to much, botting does more damage.
Multiboxing is fine, but hw or sw duplication of keypresses and use of logitech/razer/etc macros kinda cross a line imo… semi-automation like someone else put it.
no…its not.
automation in THIS context is PLAYERLESS AI.
Good lord. do you people even READ what BLIZZARD has said in the matter?
Yes, that’s what I’ve been saying this entire time. Multiboxers aren’t breaking any rules unless they’re using botting software.
I never said they were making “boatloads”, but they’re absolutely making more money off of them than they are from people like me who only have one account. Why would they decide to ban multiboxing when each of those people have ~15 accounts that someone is paying for? Even if they’re using gold to buy tokens, someone is still buying those tokens and putting them up for sale, so Blizzard is making money either way.
Because the alts were not level 90. You could not fly in mop when current content before being level capped. Had nothing to do with multiboxing.
ah…so it was a flight thing. I see.
I thought you were implying that all MBed characters needed to be the same level, lol
Ya they would fly down tap, or attack while you were questing etc, then fly off. They were not boxing.
but they’re absolutely making more money off of them than they are from people like me who only have one account.
“more” is obvious compared to one account, but ‘boatloads’ overall. I doubt its that big a deal.
Whats more likely is that blizzard just doesnt care in the first place.
They set their game launcher literally to allow boxing. And unless someone is violating the ToS otherwise, I dont see any reason why theyd care one way or another.
One WoW account can play one character at a time.
Doesnt really matter much if 10 wow accounts are being run by one player or 10. The end result is the same.
Ya they would fly down tap, or attack while you were questing etc, then fly off. They were not boxing.
Honestly Ive never seen or heard of anything like that so I couldnt even begin to comment.
Ive seen three boxers farming since I started playing the game in 2017. None of them remotely affected my farming. All were minding their own business, and the most recent one literally let me farm the node he was on before he did so I could get it too.
I seriously doubt these accusations are legit in here.
I think some dont want any competition and are just here to cry about it, making it sound worse than it is.
I also suspect, as some have asserted, that it could easily be botters themselves trying to get MBing banned so they have less competition.
Multiboxing been a thing since 2004. There was a dude that used to box around the Tarren Mill, Southshore area way back in the day. He would gank lowbies there questing including me lol. Just spam chat for high levels players to come help. And they did, and would kill him, and corpse camp him for awhile until he left the area lol.
Id love to actually witness a MBer getting trashed in PvP, lol.
There is a certain boxer on classic that streams, he does okay til people get coordinated and trash him. He gets quite mad about.
Its not picked clean only by multiboxing tons of plahers like myself go there and farm mats for pots and flasks and sell some for gold daily its just a small zone with limited spawn with an herb thats for top pots and flask…high demand makes it hard to get either way it’s gonna be a bit inconvenient but I can farm over 100 in about 35 min just gotta know all the spots.
Yup. Rather be a defender than one Hitler’s brainwashed morons.
